@@christopherwoodyatt38First, this dodge is not a V6. It’s a straight 6, which is most balanced by design. Thats why most iconic engines are all straight 6. Even trailer trucks are all straight 6. This engine is built with a closed deck block and high pressure head gaskets. Twin turbo makes instant power, so it’s not working hard. A NA V8 actually works harder because it relies on valve train to make the power. Hence why they eat cams and lifters. Plus they are slow and are horrible at high altitude. Only downfall of straight 6 turbo is sound, till aftermarket exhaust kits are available. Other than that, they make amazing power and torque. With ease.

@joelhughes6272Ай бұрын
The price is actually very different from where the TRX ended. This starts at 70K, the last year of production the 24 TRX started in the 95K to 98K range, add in the Level 2 options and Final Edition, the MSRP of some maxed out around 125K. The 2021 TRX started at 70K, with recent inflation, that number is now about 85K, so the RHO is a cheaper option compared to the TRX. Also, the entry level of the RHO is nicer than the entry point of the TRX. Base model TRX did not have leather, base model RHO does. So in reality the comparison is 70K for a RHO, 91K for a TRX. So they took away about 21K

@@James-t3c Most people looking to buy trucks are not interested in cheap work trucks. They want trucks at great prices with as much luxury as possible. Even most people who use their trucks for work want luxury and they won't settle for cheap work trucks as you mentioned. There is a reason luxury trucks are popping up everywhere, because most people are not looking for cheap work trucks, they want it all, luxury plus great price.

Tbh 12:22 would have split my truck in half. Not too bad ram. Next time do a v8 option like ford.

No more HEMI? I'm not buying another RAM truck. I can't believe they did that.

Yawn. Stellantis will find out the same thing that Ford did when they put a six in their performance pickup.
@ALMX5DPАй бұрын
I think Ford had relative success doing that, though they didn’t initially bring out an uber powerful model and then follow it up with an inferior powertrain (from an enthusiast standpoint).
@PedroKing99Ай бұрын
@@ALMX5DPford didn’t do this. Ford still had the v8…
@Chris-mc1xyАй бұрын
@@PedroKing99 Nah man, Gen1 Ford Raptor was a 6.2L V8. Then in Gen2 they switched to the 3.5L Ecoboost V6. No V8 was available in 2nd Gen. Then Ford realized the error of this decision and brought back the V8 for the 3rd Gen.

The Raptor sells a lot of.

That sounds like shit! This isn’t the future … gm still makes v8’s and ford still offers v8 raptors R. I’m a ram guy but I’m not getting a strait 6. I’m buy the truck that is still a v8. Don’t give in. By trucks with v8’s. Only way ram keeping me is if the new 2500 is great and has a Cummins.

The trx start at that same price when it came out

With TTs, it really should respond to mods well and easily make what the TRX made while sounding like absolute DOG SHIT. But I'd rock it for sure.
@sleeeper88Ай бұрын
I'd love to know how much ram pd them to say it's better than the trx! Lol its not, 150 lbs is. Nothing off a truck this heavy.
@fscottgray9784Ай бұрын
It is sad that your dollar is lower in value than the US dollar. I would consider the RHO where I never was serious about getting a TRX.

Love this truck! Understand we had the TRX but unfortunately V-8s are taboo these days so we are getting the replacements.

Are they actually taboo? Only for greenies and government workers.

I’ve had 5 Ram Trucks all with Hemi engines. There is no chance I ever get rid of the cold start growl on my 2017 Ram. Probably going to get a Ford F-250.
