I wanted a TRX before but this is looking great for sure. I grew up on turbo cars starting in the 90's and 2000's as I looked after them they lasted forever. So the sound doesn't bother me as if I need a V8 there are still a few options in a muscle car used or new. A well looked after Scat or a Coyote sounds amazing to my garage.

I had a JB4 for my Tremor Ecoboost until I got the Ford Tune. The JB4 worked great..no complaints..only compliments. You might want to consider mounting the tuner box in a more inconspicuous place so that when you take for service it doesn’t get noticed so easily and risk losing your warranty.

maybe I'm wrong but it looked like the 3rd launch was a little down hill; potentially aiding in the decrease from 4.4 to 4.2... we'll have to wait till we see 1/4 mile times - but the more I see the more I think I'll either keep my current lvl2 TRX or sell and get a limited edition color before going with an RHO. will continue to follow either way because your video quality is flat out awesome and I absolutely believe you're gonna deliver one heck of a build and a beautiful truck for that can TRX and RHO owners can both relate to

I say compound boost it later after all the basic mods. Add a big turbo to it and it will be a triple turbo you can call it Category 3 Hurricane or for short CAT 3 Hurricane 🌀

Boost will likely be the same on the performance pages, the JB4 essentially tricks the ecu into thinking it’s making stock boost. The hp/tq reading would be interesting. Not sure how Mopar does it, but i think it could be similar to how Bmw does it with their hp/tq gauges

Just saw a Ram put down 460hp to the wheels with a heavy drivetrain. The Charger should put down more like 480-490hp. Now compare that to a 6.4 Hemi that typically puts down approximately 425hp and you can see how good it’s going to be. It will also be simple to add another 100hp unlike the 6.4. The 6.4 does sound glorious though.

You haven’t considered the many factors and variables. We don’t know what map or fuel he’s using, we don’t know the conditions or DA, we don’t know many things. He could’ve had a great run when it was stock and a horrible run with the JB4 and it could’ve did the same time as stock. That hp/tq increase could be at smaller rpm window on that whatever map he’s using. You can’t expect exactly 100hp increase throughout the entire rev range perfectly. Factors and variables are in everything in life

So my F97 with the S58 which is the best 3.0 twin turbo in the market is exactly what Ram used to mimic and my F97 is fully tuned with BM3 stage 2 w over 700HP but my F95 with 4.4 V8 twin turbo has a JB4 “around 800hp” and it is great. Lots of power easy to install and for the money, cant beat it. As a Chevy guy when it comes to American, i would had love a loaded Silverado or sierra that compete with the TRX but they never did and i hate Ford so thats never an option. I do like Ram but im conflicted if i get a TRX or an RHO and same as you built it full bolt ons or wait for the new TRX since we all know that all V8 are coming back to dodge. Sounds almost identical as my F97. I would love to see downpipes and straight pipes all the way. At least thats w i will do if i get it.

I've been in the automotive field for over 20 years and one thing is true: there's a class of owners who couldn't care less about warranties because they are in a completely different tax bracket. Interesting folks for sure!
