I gotta get a steam deck, and this game is awesome! It's probly the best single player game there is. Its like Botw meets dark souls meets minecraft. Nice video, buster.

The best thing is the game world settings. You can play how you want. They just dropped a major update today!

Enabling FSR in-game helps a ton. You get that halo blurring effect around the blurry, but the world looks a lot better. It's a balance of how high you can run it with good frame rate and not drain your battery

If you have a PC to play it elsewhere, sure. Idk if I'd get it for Steam Deck if that's all you have. It really depends on how they handle the future updates and continue to optimize to run better on Steam Deck. It's great as a second tho.

It's a fun game and it's 100% playable on Steam Deck, but if you're fine with closer to 30fps and lesser graphics. They also have a major update brewing in the future with weather, farming (I think) and NPCs being more alive at home. I am sure there will be revised Steam Deck videos on how the update runs. The game itself is a blast, highly recommended if you had a PC with Deck as a secondary. Deck as primary, I think they need to do better on optimization for the handheld. I don't recall if I showed all my settings for the video, but I will check it out right now and report back on if anything has changed since I did this video.
