This is very informative!Good for you! My employer does not cover infertility in my insurance, does Progyny only works with the employers? I wonder how can I avail this kind of coverage.

Im so glad it was informative! According to their website, individuals can’t buy their coverage. It’s only available through your employer. My guess is that such a small proportion of employees need it so they’re able to spread the cost out across a lot of people, whereas someone buying on their own would probably only want that coverage if they know they need it. There wouldn’t be a good way for Progyny to make money.

I have SANA PPO PLUS it covers 70% after $2500 deductible. They also use Scharft 2.0 for medications at a copay cost. Waiting on my period to start. 😫

Wishing you all the best! ❤️ it’s a much longer process than I expected but so grateful that it’s even an option. I have a few other videos up now about the egg retrieval process if you’re curious!

My deductible is 500$ and OOP is 1500$. How much would it cost for 1 ivf cycle?
@nikkimunir3 ай бұрын
@@GeethaReddy-r7n if you have Progyny then I think it would be at most $1500 (if you’ve already spent towards your OOP it’d be less), but if you call them and have the info of what you’ve spent with other insurance this year than they can probably tell you. If you only have standard insurance then I’m not sure- depends on if they cover anything related to IVF

@@nikkimunir thank you for the information. Its not Progyny. Its Blue cross blue shield. And as per my insurance benefits report, ivf upto 4 implantations per period are covered in it.
@nikkimunir3 ай бұрын
@@GeethaReddy-r7n that’s awesome that it’s covered through them! They probably have someone that can walk you through it with your actual numbers and current spend if you call. Good luck!

Am using progyny but am starting the procedure. How much will i pay out of pocket.
@nikkimunir Жыл бұрын
Your care representative is the best person to answer that because it depends on your regular health insurance. At maximum, it’s probably your individual deductible for the year (assuming all of your treatments are contained to a single year).
