Most of these comments are from people who have spent very little time studying God’s Word. They are watching this video through worldly eyes. They are also using the word “love” as defined by the culture of today. The video was a good explanation. The point of this passage is that if you truly choose to follow JESUS (that means being “all in”) it will cost you something. In this example, it could cost you someone you love, that is if they are not following Christ as well. Get in Gods Word and really search for the answers, they are there!

Thank you so much , very informative. Helped me out a lot in having a better understanding. It’s very true, I’ve witnessed this with my mother who converted herself to a woman of God. Many of her family members and even her kids at a point didn’t understand it, but I took the time to understand and I kept learning more and more about his commandments . Now I fully see her point of view on things . 🙏💕

@@amyw4125 Jesus knew he was one of God's gift of salvation to the people - to the world - NOT - as supposed and taught down the centuries - salvation from the punishment meted out by the wrath of God - BUT - to save us from the daily repetition of the same mistakes in wrong thinking - wrong thinking which created our misfortunes - poverty - sickness and misery. ​But because Jesus Loved the human race so deeply - he was prepared to teach and heal in defiance of the Jewish Priests. Jesus was prepared to "die" on the cross to reveal the TRUTH - the Truth about God - the Truth about life and the Truth about Love. THIS IS THE TRUTH BEHIND JESUS' CRUCIFIXION AND ALL THE REST WE'VE HEARD IS MAN-MADE CONJECTURE ARISING OUT OF THE JEWISH PRACTICE OF BURNT OFFERINGS IN THE TEMPLE. Jesus was a gift from God to us to help us surmount our ignorance of the Laws of Existence - and find the true Path of Life leading to the joy - abundance and perfect wholeness of the Kingdom of Heaven. These were the perceptions - the desires - the intentions - the goals and the thoughts which Jesus bore within his mind and heart. This was the materialistic mental-emotional framework clothing Jesus' spiritual awareness hidden within the head and figure of him.

Matthew, written many years after Jesus death. Matthew never meet Jesus. How does he know what Jesus said.

Jesus brings the sword first in discord concerning his nature. Secondly in judgment.

It says how it was written. It's a open script don't confuse people. If Jesus wants to explain his words, he would've but, he didn't write any book in the bible. It was written by someone and poor translation from its original language.

Family is a lower order relationship than that of devotion to Christ. So, if one were to have to choose between the two for some reason the believer’s responsibility is to choose Christ.

@@manuelnieves3523 the traditional definition of family in the west is built on the biblical definition. The family typically begins with marriage as the husband and wife leave the protection of their parents and form a new family together. This is then furthered with the addition of children. Now, the commitment of marriage will also bind non related individuals together (see Ruth) and adoption is also a significant concept among the Israelites. Family has a higher level of commitment than that of neighbors and friends which is why Christ’s demand of whole hearted allegiance, even beyond family ties, is such a difficult position for most people to accept.

Many times I find Jesus' clear message made up more complicated by people who are trying to defend him. But he was defended by Islam that's peace when he said blessed are peacemakers, they are Muslims.
