How does Lyme Disease Happen?

Lyme disease is caused by black legged ticks also known as deer ticks. Lyme disease happens because ticks drink bacteria-infected blood from deer and mice in the wild. The deer and mice have Borrelia bacteria in their system which transfers to the ticks. Then when the ticks bite humans, the ticks transfer the bacteria to people. If caught quickly and treated with antibiotics, Lyme Disease can be cured. However, if the bacteria has time to travel through the body, or if co-infection happened with parasites, then Lyme Disease is more difficult to treat and may require IV Vancomyosin.

I knew someone who was diagnosed with lyme disease by a lyme disease expert. As it turned out she actually had an autoimmune disease that caused overproduction of collagen. She ultimately needed spine surgery to keep her spine from poking her brain.

I love your explanation videos! Maybe get some audio production sofware. You need whats called a "de-esser." It softens those really sharp sounds

It’s not always from a tick. It can be from any biting insect. My worst Lyme infection is a LIVE the Babesia Mycroti (like malaria) you mentioned. I also have several others. I’ve been sick for 2 years on treatment. I hurt all over! I also had mold toxicity and breast implants, which I’m finding is a common trail of infections.

I have heard they should be frozen first with a wart freeze or skin-tag freeze spray, then they will drop off. If they are very small then the cream used for scabies should be used instead. Pulling them out with tweezers may make them vomit into your bloodstream (and its difficult).

Hello, do you offer 1 on 1 consulting? I understand your not a MD. Im really interstate in learning about how my cells work. Been dealing with chronic EBV and its causing havoc on my gut. I want to know the underlying mechanisms to help my immune system fight off EBV for good. Please let me know! Thank you

Only Your doctor can effectively advise You, the current treatment is hemopoietic stem cell transplantation in patients with chronic presentation. If Your doctor isn't being helpful one can only hope to reason with insurance company to allow You to see a different specialists as chronic ebv is extremely serious issues that shouldn't be delayed in treatment. Good luck ❤

@margodphd Do you know what kind if testing can be done to determine if chronic EBV is present? I have been dealing with severe post viral symptoms since a suspected COVID-19 infection in March of 2020. I know that I had Mono when I was about 11. My Dr doesn't really seem to know what to do bit is very open to writing referrals. What are your thoughts on what type of Dr or testing could be ideal/helpful?

@@jopainting1668 Well, given its a chronic condition, EBV PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) is highly sensitive and can detect even small amounts of viral DNA, making it useful for monitoring viral load in chronic EBV infection....might want to check with your provider with that.

One minute in, and as someone who likes to be outside and walk my dog through the wooded trails, how do I protect myself against lyme disease?!?!?! Can dogs get it?!?!?!

There’s an oil you can put behind your dog’s neck that’s pretty good for fleas and ticks. For you, you need to check your body for ticks when you shower, and it’s a good idea to remove your clothes and wash them right away. I have never had a tick on my skin, but I’ve found them on my clothes. I once put two in a jar with the lid on tight for months. They fell asleep in there and woke up when I opened the lid and blew on them.

Yes! Dogs can get it! I know of several dogs who have it. Horses get it as well! Do tick checks on yourself and your dog or cat! I have it and I’m dying, or wish I were!
