This is EXCELLENT!!! Just what I needed to see to repair a broken marble slab and also a marble inlay top with precious stones missing. I can fill the repaired crack with epoxy mixed with marble dust after gluing back. I can tint the epoxy with marble dust to recreate lapis lazuli, carnelian, malachite, coral, black onyx. Now to find the right pigments! Love the sand grain - looks like granite. I bet if you went over the sandy coaster with an angle grinder and a wire cup brush, you could expose the sand grain and get a real stone feel.

How did it feel? Was it hard like stone when tapped? Was it heavy?
@suzettekath98603 жыл бұрын
I wonder if you repeat the one on the left. If you were to let it thicken up more and with some coloured resin like blue-grey lines/swirls like real marble has been known to have.

Hi Steve, great video! I heard about Polystone, which is in my understanding basically polyurethane resin combined with powdered stone. I am very curious what you think about that. Did you try that before?
