Were hoping to move our 110 year old house because of a street widening project. Weve been here 22 years so theres a bit of sentiment but we also hate to see another old home become trash. I dont think theres any way we could build a replacement for 60k. New construction is pretty much trash because of materials, the old growth wood in old homes is really what turns moving them a serious consideration. You do you though.

Story starts out how much money these people made then how they lost everything. What’s amazing after poor mouthing this guy hires a helicopter to watch his house being moved wow they go into debt but use a helicopter to watch. And everything over stated how this could go wrong with all the theatrics not an honest or good look.

so the old lady is all worked up about an overgrown bush that might be all of 10 years old. on top of that it is within the city's right of way so it's not hers anyhow. i could understand if it was hundreds of years old and 4 feet in diameter at the base but it's not & it didn't look very nice to start with.

I would have tried filing bankruptcy before I let my home go. I wouldn’t call having $290 thousand dollars to spend on moving a house is not loosing it all that’s a shit ton of money an amount I probably never have in any bank account of my own. In my little town that would almost be enough to pay cash for the nicest house in town.

So when there goes the neighborhood you can jack up the house and pull the houses out and leave them with vacant Lots. So they don't destroy and burn down good homes. When the neighborhood goes bad he just remove all the houses and you leave them a bunch of vacant Lots interesting
