You can't talk about Rogue without mentioning Ms. Marvel. She absorbed so much Carol Danvers' power that Carol almost died. Carol lost her powers and memory, while Rogue retained Ms. Marvel's powers. It's why Rogue can fly. Carol's psyche lived inside of Rogue for a long time. Rogue was not an X-man at this point. She begged Professor X to help with Carol's psyche living in her head. This is how she joined the X-Men, and why Ms. Marvel left.

The Deadpool Juggernaut portrayal is the closest anyone has been in the movies so far in regard to portraying him properly.

I always thought that ROGUES leeching ability was more than just an energy siphon. Being as though when she absorbed from mutants such as sabertooth that her bodies physical attributes changed too. Sp I gathered that it was some kind of process of energy absorption/gene mimicking ability that's only temporary due to the lack of recombinant DNA strands that are being mimicked. Like with CAPTAIN MARVEL, she held on long enough to completely drain her powers permanently leaving her in a coma for 20 years. Upon waking from her coma she was powerless.

Rogue is the most Mary Jane character flaw possible. She retains flight forever but...doesn't touch anyone beforehand to gain that ability. She touches Colossus, who when transforms, isn't organic, then gains ability. She literally touches Cables mechanical arm, gains his powers...she is a terrible contradictory character. Writer's were lazy, hell she even touches Apocalypse who doesn't have an organic body, goes insane, comes back to be him...her story is @#%$ing dumb

Another OP toon on the X-Men. She should get nerfed. Maybe be able to reflect someones ability back at them like Bishop and then she cannot do it again for at least an hour or a day. This is where she can have a somewhat happy ending because she can sap someone at 7am but by 7:05am, she can touch and be normal until 8am. Lather rinse repeat.
