Great breakdown of how swimming pools work, this definitely clears up a lot! For my pool Backyard and Home in Bakersfield helped me out. They really know their stuff and made the whole process easy. Highly recommend!

You forgot to mention stainless steel - such a beautiful piece of engineering sits a few meters away outside in our garden! They are expensive to build, but really nice to look at and very easy to maintain. It's now 15 years old and and still looks brand-new after an hour or two of giving it some love. Modern pools also often have a pool-manager to steer the pumps and back-washing times. And we have a second modul that constantly measures ph and chlorine and adds chemicals in small amounts if necessary. Thanks for the video!

"Stailess steel" what exactly?
@stefanschneider3681 Жыл бұрын
@@jeffv444 what is it exactly you would like to know? We had it built by polytherm of austria 🇦🇹, there you can have a look. It stands on a slab of reinforced concrete, but the rest is made of stainless steel, with stabilizers around every 80 cm, partly refilled with porous concrete around the tubing. Looks and works great!
@stefanschneider3681 Жыл бұрын
@@jeffv444 It's really the whole tub, not just the frame. It's 4.5 x 9m, they brought the floor in 3 pieces and welded it together right here, it's 1.5 m deep, they prepared the front and back panel at their shop for all the inlets for the technique, the sides were 4 pieces each if I remember correctly, all welded together here our backyard in the coldest winter we had for years within about a week. There is frame around it of course and reinforcements going to the side. Does it make sense now? Really the whole tub is stainless steel - and it's still beautiful today 11 years later!

@@stefanschneider3681 the whole tub made of stainless steel? would be the most expensive option, no?
