I bought a 2023 Street Glide in March of 2023. Would I still buy it if I knew the 2024 would have the 117? Yes. Yes I would. But I would not pay full price for it

The st was released with a bigger engine and less equipment for more money to see if customers would buy it. It worked and set up the cvo st for bigger profits. I am still baffled why the specials were dropped unless it was more profit on a standard by adding less than the specials and forcing people to buy the standard. I myself WILL NOT buy another new Harley. I will continue to buy 23 and down. The fit/finish and quality is not there on the new bikes weather that is a sportster or a touring bike and when the softail line goes in the same direction I will be done with them as well. IMO all the changes look cheap and feel cheap.

I haven’t had a chance to get a good look at the 24’s yet, but I’m not in a hurry to. I’m very happy with my 23. It performs flawlessly.

Still don’t know if it will hurt the 23 yet because of all the changes on the 24 a lot of people isn’t going to like the 24 rite now especially being the 1st year of all changes like the dash and the motor is changed quite a bit believe it’s changed more than really what some has thought don’t no maybe for the better but we all know the 1st of changes are usually not so good I do know me personally I don’t like the cluster being in all 1 fixture because with 1 glitch you loose everything are if it’ll even start

I think you’re right. I would not buy a 24 right now. It needs time to work out the kinks. The 88 TC definitely had issues. Good motor, but it took awhile to figure out how to make it reliable
