You’re absolutely right, such an underrated comment! What we’ve seen the last 5 or so years in the NBA is the Euro guys winning MVPs, and a lot of NBA players credit their ability to change speed/tempo to throw off defenders. You just gave me a whole new perspective on team building, where paper stats don’t compare to the eye test.

Thanks for this great video. I've never heard of Slo-Mo Anderson, and I appreciate your highlighting the guy. Also, I really appreciate your tone of voice, which has a friendly, congenial quality to it. That's why I think I can safely ask you the following question.... (I’ve asked this same question of at least twenty other KZbin presenters, so I hope you don’t take it personally, or in a negative way. I’m on a quest to understand a particular speech pattern and, so far, I don’t have any clear answers.) My question: Why do you often say *“aye”* for “a” ... and *“thee”* for “the”? To my knowledge, there are very limited circumstances in which those pronunciations would be correct (i.e., most often related to the first letter of the word that follows the article)... and most of the time they're not. To my ears, these sounds very unnatural -- I have doubts you or anyone would use these pronunciations in everyday conversation, for example. I remember my father doing this, when I was a kid, while he was pretending to be a newscaster or a high-ranking military officer. My only guess, at this point, is that there is a belief that these pronunciations make the speaker sound more formal or educated. I am interested in hearing from those who use this speech pattern, however, and would appreciate any light you could shed on this.

I'm confused, it's just an accent, that's just how he pronounces those sounds. There are lots of types of different accent in the US, it's like asking why a Mexican pronounces ''cerebro'' as if it were ''serebro''.

Let me unconfuse you,@@holliswilliams8426, and broaden your perspective on the world a bit. If I ask a Mexican why he pronounces _winner_ as if it were "weiner," you know what he *doesn't* say (unless he's a jackass): "It's just an accent." He says, _My native tongue is Mexican-Spanish._ Why does he say that? Because he understood my question.

Social media literally doesn't think centers exist. They never factor centers in to anything. Like how come only guards are in the goat conversion?

Pretty much an important factor in keeping him around is a mid game change of pace if your team doesn't have the momentum.

You don’t play basketball if you think there’s something wrong with his jumpshot. Coaches tell you since 4th grade. As long as you flick your wrist and keep that elbow tucked, your form is perfect

And then there are super ugly, against all types of common sense and physics type of jumpshots and yet they still are dangerous out there. Like idk, some retired dude with a T-Rex jumpshot but still manages to shoot decently throughout his career on top of being a lockdown defender?
