So much incredible footage has come out...I honestly can't keep up! Lol. They really put time, effort, and thought into this game. Rebirth could really be the one, Xeroverse.

Crazy to think we're getting this amazing Remake in our lives, right? Games are seriously incredible.

They really are busting their buttons, but I've seen things like Square making cool RTS figurine games, cool moments in XIV, and people complain. So many magical moments we have together before a new FF, and then it just seems like people are somehow coping even when they say they had fun. I just want us all to be able to celebrate this accomplishment where BD1 was able to have all their eggs in the basket ready and give it all they have, and the audience appreciating the effort. As much as I am looking forward to the game, I just want people to be unabashedly satisfied and happy. Also I love that Square is just metaphorically screaming in everyone's ear USE EVERYONE YOU FOOLS with this game.

I get you for sure! I think Max says it best, where your favorite games and things have problems/aren't perfect. Being able to celebrate a game and love it, to completely embrace that bias, while also being able to constructively talk about things is how it should be. And I def want to share my excitement for games with everyone!

The ambition is the factor that makes me uneasy. But from my experience with Remake, I see that it is at least possible to achieve what they are shooting for. When I first played Remake, I was not believing my eyes and ears, how on point the character design, animation, presentation, music and all other factors were made with so much thought and care. I hope that Rebirth is able to rekindle that fire that the original Final Fantasy VII did, such a long time ago.

Aye. Aye. Remake was an incredible work that had some flaws and limitations, but those shortcomings didn't take away from how amazing the game was for me. They had time to figure out what worked and didn't, to get feedback, and it looks like they're putting their heart and soul into this. FF7 has always been important to Square for good reason, and it legit feels like they're going for the gold. I think...I hope...I pray...that Rebirth lives up to everything we want!

Upgrades to the combat system are everything I've been asking for since remake dropped, I'd give myself more credit, but I suppose the flaws were obvious although many said it was how it should be, super hyped for better aerial combat.

For sure, it was clear for many of us that Remake was a major test of a new system and that they would expand it in the next one (I know I specifically talked about them bring in dual techs and better team synergy even before intergrade came out). Everything I've seen from the combat looks great. Aerial combat still seems like it's not gonna be the highlight...at least yet! Many of the chars we will get most likely will specialize in it even more. Plus, with some of the synergy moves and new techniques, heading into the air to do some things seems way better (That Tifa+Cloud jump, Cloud's Fire Sword jump.) Just wait til Yuffie shows up playable!

This is gonna be SO TIGHT!!! Square-Enix is STILL really putting in the work on FF7 Rebirth which is part 2 of remake! I played the OG before and the movie and other games that came after too. So I simply can't wait to see the changes and new improvements they've done with this. Mt. Nibel, Chocobo Farm, Kalm and Under Junon are looking so amazing. What I wanna see next is Barret's hometown Corel and his old mining buddy Dyne.

Honestly, seeing all these locations in the trailers and knowing what's coming Q_Q it's almost too much! The Dyne storyline will absolutely be one of the most amazing and saddest parts of the game for people who don't know it. Obviously FF7 has seriousness, has jokes, but I'm not sure newer players realize how deep some of this stuff will go. I can't wait!!

Well as long as were giving early thoughts, The open world is looking a bit lacking, feels like it has everything I didn't like in assassins creed. Towers that you activate to put icons on your map with the reward for doing so being an enemy camp, outside of battle you don't really interact with the world it's just a static backdrop. Lots of minigames but outside of them no cohesive system to interact with the world itself.

I've heard some people mention the tower aspect being Assassin's Creedy, and I totally get that. It doesn't super bother me, but I can absolutely see how that would be a turn off with some people. But beyond that, I think what they've shown so far has been pretty great. Even the small slice of exploration Max did had hunts, off the path things to fine, choco-lootin, and small things tucked away. Add in the ability to get the various chocobos that open up new places to explore and interact with, and I think we're going to have a pretty lived in open world with places to explore, things to get, and fun to be had. The Golden Saucer has always been the center of the mega-mini games, so we'll see how they expand on it!
