Looks okay. Im refraining from getting hyped for it, I don't have a ps5 and won't get one, So I can't play it.. I didnt like the combat from remake anyways tho tbh, I had to slog though it to soak in the story. Sure ill be watching others playthroughs but it wont be the same. Universe works in weird ways I tell you. 3 days or so ago, I was thinking to myself "I wonder when more will be shown on Rebirth?" and they released this trailer. I don't follow game conventions and news outlets like at all, so I didn't know it was coming. You can all thank me for the trailer releasing, my thoughts put it out into the universe and made it happen!

See - part of me was wondering that! I thought it looked like Levi, but also thought the "area" looked like the jerk who attacks us when we're sneaking in. I wasn't sure which it was! And that's a great point about Alexander, though I wonder...given that we're in the actual world now, I wouldn't be surprised if we still fought some summons out in the open/away from places...unless Chadley just asks us to bring it all to him to unlock basically.

To be fair, Kujata is an easily missable materia in the original FFVII, and is only seen in that game (as far as I know.) I'm not surprised most people didn't recognise it at first - took me two or three views to realise what it was.

100 percent, I think that makes a ton of sense. The order in which they've shown stuff could be off - this could be RIGHT before Zack goes to talk to meet up with her and everyone is crying.

Nomura: The original party members are all present in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. In the previous title, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Red XIII became an accompanying member in the second half of the game, but he will become an official, playable party member starting from Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Similarly, there are characters who are accompanying members in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, that will become official party members in the next title.

I honestly feel like he’s talking about Vincent or Cid for sure, possibly both as non controlled characters for Rebirth. I’m gonna say Cid is the one most likely not being playable for this one though.

I think that's fair. Considering we saw Cait Sith playable, Vincent was fairly prominent in the trailer, and we STILL haven't seen Cid...especially if they (OG SLIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD!) have us go to space in the 3rd game, that's really where Cid is more important with his town. I could totally see them doing that.

This trailer was absolutely amazing! I’m very curious how they are changing the whole scenario with Zack because he never made it back to Midgar in OG, definitely one of the more intriguing parts of Rebirth!

They're definitely going in with the theory we had w/ 7 remake and confirmed by them that it's an alternate timeline....but to what end? What does Sephiroth actually want? I was thinking about it all yesterday, why would Sephiroth be trying to merge the two worlds and keep it to where Zack is fine and moving forward in one timeline. Would it be possible that he wants them to merge, both worlds to possibly be on the brink of destruction, and he wants to make the 2 timelines fight eachother, and therefore he wins in both? I don't know but I'm intrigued!

YEAAAAAAH BOY!!! Looks like Square-Enix is STILL really putting in the work on this game and we finally have an official release date which is next year's February! Though I was hoping for sooner like in January. Also we saw Cait Sith and Vincent but still no Cid Highwind and Rocket Town along with Shera too, pehaps in the final trailer we'll see them. Furthermore that thing with Zack was definitely the alternate timeline where he's ALIVE! Anyway I am SO looking forward to this!😁✊🏿

You say "disc 2 stuff" when talking about the buggy. But it's funny much of the game actually is on the first disc. Disc 2 doesn't starts after "the scene", then disc 3 is just the final level.

Firstly, thank you so much for being vague about the scene so we don't spoil it for our new friends! Much love and respect for that! And you're 100 percent right. I was actually thinking a lot about this...and I think I said it because we saw weapon and we saw Alexander. I can tell you've played the OG so we def have areas/scenes beyond that scene we're gonna play, right? Except... In the Q&A, Nomura mentions where Rebirth will end, but he also says they're mixing up when we do certain things and the order will NOT be the same as the OG. So are they moving things to different places (say...the City to the Northern Crater) and we'll be going to a lot more places earlier? I'm pretty freaking excited/interested if that's the case!

I haven't beaten remake nor it's DLC😭I lost my data around the house boss fight and didn't want to replay the game. Never played the original but crisis core remake was so COOL. I'll get integrade through ps+ and play it because this trailer and seeing Zack with these upgraded graphics is hype!!!! This is will be my most anticipated game after spider man 2

Ah man that sucks!! I had a few members of my community who lost their saves when they were deep in Q_Q But I will say it's really good, and the ending + intergrade set up for Rebirth so I would absolutely play it again if you can! They said they are making it to where you can jump into Rebirth and get like a recap of what happened...but some of the fights are just so fun!
