Seeing is believing! Nice demo. Hard to beat side by side comparisons.

Jim This is outstanding work. You can further quantify this great experiment with measurement system analysis. I am a former Six Sigma Black Belt and like to work with you and do Measurement System Analysis on this.

Nice job. I just got my set of hoses and a new vp85. Bad part is that the pump came missing a 3/8 cap gasket. Must have been boxed up on a Friday.

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on these hoses after watching this video. I do mostly refrigeration work but also install mini splits. I have mainly 2 questions, 1. Are they flexible enough to use in tight quarters such as the line of a restaurant. 2. Do the clamps that's secure the hoses and adapters pose an issue for connecting to mini split. The shape and diameter of the clamps looks larger than that of a core tool and I was concerned that it would interfere with the side of the unit. Also I only install Fujitsu and Mitsubishi. If anyone has experience using these hoses in the listed capacities, I would greatly appreciate your input.

I just spent my money on a starter set. I really wish I got them in 2018 as the price went up by 40 dollars 🙁

What if I just use 1/4 inch copper with flares?

The science shows us that the inside diameter of the hose has a substantial bearing on evacuation under vacuum.

I got my pro kit this week. One question that I have, is it ok to leave fittings attached to hoses or should they be dismantled after each use
@measureQuick5 жыл бұрын
Jason Silva yes, for sure that’s the way we always intended it to be used. You do not ever have to take it apart once it’s connected it will have no impact on the performance or gasket life in fact they will last longer.

WHY CAN YOU USE METAL TUBING INSTEAD OF HOSE
@HectorFabela-k6u4 ай бұрын
You could but that would be incredibly impractical.

Larger diameter/shorter/smother/non-porous hoses are better. I will not argue about it. What I will adress, is the presented setup with meters on dead ends of hoses. For anyone with any experience in vacuum technology it is laughable and puts the whole presentation in a bad light.The amounts shown by the meters will depend mostly on the speed of removal of volatile substances from the walls of the hoses and almost nothing more. Previously used hoses, especially somewhat porous, will give much worse vacuum values than new ones. In other words - the values shown are by no means a measure of equipment quality and/or usefulness in a practical scenario.

Feel free to watch other videos showing him vacuuming out recovery tanks. In every case, trublu wins.

Exactly he is placing used appion against new tru blu . I run appion. 1/2” and have a tru blu they both run identicle the only difference is the tru blu sucks ass for tight spaces due to their crappy clamps .

@@matthewking6509 you still using the appion? How'd it been holding up? Thinking of getting one

@@techti8792 Yeah no complaints . I have recently change the o ring kit out was like $7 and she’s all new again .

@@matthewking6509Not arguing, just asking. I missed the part where he said appion was a used hose. But if he was running these hoses for demos, repeatedly, don't you think even a used hose would be degassed by then?
