Looks great for a Nintendo 64 game. I'm on Xbox and bushes, trees, pictures hanging on a wall flicker and disappear and reappear, trees in the distance look like Super Mario mushrooms and anything past 40 meters is a solid blur, demon glitch on the guns and it crashes after and during almost every game. Completely unplayable. Apparently Warzone is a free to play game but you need a $2000.00 PC setup to play it. And I love how the popular KZbinrs are downplaying the fact the game is complete garbage for anyone on console. Of course they are all on PC right?

I know it's not as nice of a option that pc has but if you're on console some monitors have fps filters and settings sliders. I personally turned my vibrance, contrast, and gamma up a little bit and the game looks better, the thing is getting the in game brightness high enough where you see people but it doesn't wash the colors out too much for me..

Strange. I'm not color blind but I tried the Deuteranopia setting and the numbers in the test images were more vibrant. That setting seems very similar to turning the color blind filter off and changing the settings in Nvidia Control Panel to increase vibrance. Might be simpler to just use the color blind setting since it only affects the game, rather than all apps.

Xbox series X|S graphics are terrible, everything glitches and bugs. When you want to back out to change class, operator etc, it fully restarts the app every time. Unplayable

Definitely use dlss quality setting if you play on 1440p for best framerate and image quality. If you want a little extra fps and willing to sacrifice a bit image quality use the balanced setting. For 1080p dlss is useless since this resolution is cpu bound not gpu bound, this is for 1440p and above only. For the cherry on top, use image sharpening from nvidia driver for that extra sharp definition or use your display monitor built-in sharpening for no performance loss.

I play @1440p and DLSS quality. Everything looks fine to me. I tweak the sharpness on my Gigabyte M27Q and turn HDR on. Doesn't appear blurry as far as I'm concerned. I haven't had a lot of trouble identifying movement or enemies, and the map looks great.

@4:04, when I enable cache shadows, I get dev errors. I disabled them and my dev errors have mostly gone away. I also do a cleaning to my PC files whenever I get a dev error. This has brought my dev error rate from about once every 3 games, to like once every 30 to 40 games.

I think it should be noted that overclocking does not shorten the life expectancy of your parts as long as you have sufficient cooling. There are safe ways to overclock and obtain a free performance boosts without jeopardizing the life expectancy of your hardware.

It's not just about cooling, but power fluctuations. Regardless of good cooling or not, if the software handling performance, in this case overclocking, is funky, it can actually damage your card with sudden power spikes. That can happen without overclock as well, however risk of damage is much higher when you overclock since you up the voltage to begin with, not always, but in most situations. As an engineer of embedded software it is my job, and job of others in the field to make it reliable and idiot-proof, however there's always some flaw which is why there are bios(vbios) updates every once in a while. Long story short, what this gentleman is saying is true. Play with it if you have enough temperature headroom, with good cooling and there's not much to worry about. You're just missing out on free performance.

Overclocking 3000-series is very pointless perf.wise. Since most of those will be powerlimited by VBIOS. And not only 3000-cards, with any card you can get ~5-10% more perf by OC at max, its not worth it unless your card is struggling to get 60fps orso. I

Over clocking doesn't have to burn out components faster. If you want to look into squeezing a bit more performance out of your hardware, look into undervolting which can make your system more stable and yet run cooler while still being able to push clock speeds higher.

Hey, JGod! Quick heads up, going fullscreen instead of borderless windowed doesn't actually have an effect on your performance. This is because Warzone is a DX12 game, and borderless windowed in DX12 literally has all the benefits of exclusive fullscreen. This is also why you don't have an option for fullscreen in some newer games, like Halo Infinite.

Some bits of misinformation: 1. Fullscreen doesn't automatically grant you more fps. It might do it in your PC, but that doesn't automatically do it for everyone else. Having the game run on fullscreen it makes the game tell windows that it's the main priority, so if you have another heavy program running, it will prioritize the game. Running the game as administrator, and everything else normally has the same effect. 2. Overclocking does not mean automatically a reduction in the life span of the components, and even if it does, well done, it has no impact for the user, since ppl at most keep hardware for 10 years. Also 99% the parts don't die, they just degrade at a higher rate, and considering they have quite a lot of margin from stock, you can degrade them with OC, and they will still run just the same with slightly less OC or stock.

I recommend highly for this game just crank up the graphics in this game if you have a decent card or better, I have a 3060 (I know hard to get still but is like 70% of a 3070) but I just decided to crank up the graphics and still get about 120 frames, and if you’re playing vanguard the graphics engine is significantly more efficient so crank it up all the way and you’ll get 144+ frames easy

DLSS doesn't make things blurry, if you use the higher quality modes. It'a AI-based and trained on super high resolutions like 16k. Therefore it can sometimes offer even better quality than the native resolution, mostly it looks the same.

I understand the FPS issue in using NVIDIA Filters, but this way you're making the game too bright (IMO, of course) and you need to adjust this everytime you play, or else you're uncalibrating your monitor, which can be bad for editing/color grading your videos! The NVIDIA filters keep the changes only for the game itself.

If you want to get the best audio on PC get a program that cancels out your Headphones Frequency Response. 90% of headphones boost the low frequencies as that generally makes music and audio sound better to us. However in games such as WZ where low frequency ambient noise can make footsteps hard to hear, having your headphones naturally boosting those low ambient frequencies makes it even harder. So getting a program that can take your specific headphones Frequency Response curve, and cancel it out so you hear exactly what the DEVs intended is really useful. When combined with Boost High in the ingame settings, you'll get a much clearer audio experience and be able to hear details in the sound, much much better

If you set DLSS to ultra performance you will get blurry models, at least it does for me at 1080p. For 1080p I'd recommend either performance or balanced depending on your other settings. For 1440p, stod used balanced and quality. DLSS isn't going to increase your GPU usage since its using its own set of cores. But if you have DLSS, definitely use it to gain some frames. I have a weaker rtx 3050 laptop and without dlss my frames can dip to low 40's and hover at 70, but with dlss set to balanced it sits at 80-95 with no dips.

I rarely play on my pc just cause I love the comfort of my series X but after activision didn’t put an FOV slider on the new map, I just got sick of it so it’s back to the pc for me. That fov is such an advantage over those who don’t have it they really it’s a big shame that they wouldn’t have added it at least to the new consoles. There’s literally NO reason why they couldn’t have done it. My PC is still decent enough to run the game fabulously. It’s got an 9th gen i7, 32 gigs of RAM and a 2080.

There is an annoying bug.. for those having ads to toggle- during a match in caldera when someone(literally anyone and anywhere on the map) mounts, everysingle person having the ads option to toggle at that instant aims or switces to hipfire if he was already aiming making pretty annoying especially during a crucial moment in gunfights, wish you could see my comment and adress the matter publicly so it can be fixed asap

Idk what I did but my game runs at 120 now vs the 90 last week. Accidentally hit yes to play on safe mode, redid my settings, full screen borderless and it’s awesome but it looks grainy past 100m bs blurry before, still messing with settings but it’s a lot better on rebirth lol

I know of a lot of people having "fog" on consoles. The fix has been to reset the video options.

Lowering the brightness made my game look way better on series X , was at 51 for verdansk now at 48 for caldera, doesn’t seem like a big change but it looks vibrant now

I know people don’t like to sacrifice frames for graphics but is there an over/under number of frames? Meaning how many frames do you need to be hitting to really be at an advantage? If I’m hitting 110 FPS on low settings and hitting 100 FPS on higher settings does it make a difference other than the game looking better?
