If you go back to 2:57, this situation underlines another problem of ours especially when in that counter attack: lack of awareness. Take that Micky Van De Ven assist for Sonny. Great push up but he was able to sense Richy on his right and Sonny to his left, instead of just shooting, he chose to pass to Sonny who were super open. This one Odobert could have just two touch it and pass it to Sonny as well. Our central forward is worthless when our winges couldn't assist. They forgot this was a team game, if you can't bag the goals, get the assist. Truly pissed me off so much how many corrects we could have done.😡😡😡

The main problem with this team is the obvious lack of quality from our wingers when they get in promising positions. We knew it all of last year and failed to upgrade in those positions. We don’t create clear cut chances because we get in excellent positions and the final ball is lacking or the decision making is poor and the move breaks down. We will consistently dominate teams without being threatening and get sucker punched all year with these wide players.

@SonnyTalksSpurs Check the numbers in the Leicester game. Solanke at 3, and the next are all players that don't have good enough finishing. In fact take a look at how players are positioned. Romero is sitting so high up the field close by Sarr even in comparison to Dragusin. He does not have the pace like Van de Ven to catch up and yet he is so far up. It is no wonder we got hit in the counter attack.

You can find this at whoscored. Go to the match report and look at their positioning. It is almost absurd. Let alone the number of shots taken by individual players. Shows how terrible of a shot they are.

Brennan Johnson needs more time. Werner just isn’t the player he was before he joined Chelsea 😂 only saving grace I could say is son but he went missing against Leicester….. could just put that down to first game syndrome though I suppose.

First point, its not "like he did at Bournemouth last season" because every manager is playing a packed defence against TH.Thats not what Dom was up against last season, so a completely different situation for him .25 in 71 in last 2 EPLseasons.But overall in EPL less yield than Richo.THE problem is the defence, its poor.62 in 38 playing AngeBALLoks!Compare to Goons 29,MC 34,Pool 45, to get anywhere near competitive on the table THATS the problem and Dom cant fix that.
