I really did learn a good amount from this video, I'd never seen a dry suit made. Unfortunately I'm carrying a bit too much blubber around with the stomach so do they make them for man with the proverbial beer belly? Are the zippers at the front for the ease?

What a great tour. Are all Bare Drysuits made in this factory in Malta, or are there other locations?

I think they are all made here. The fittings of Boots and seals happens after you buy one and that also happens in different locations.

Great video and nice to see it beeing produced in the EU. Quite labor intensive and the level of detail really needs to be high. Would be great to see an example of repairs beeing done, perhaps if a zipper needs to be replaced or patching up a teared section.

There's the custom option, but that's of course a more expensive one. I do see a lot of front zips now a day, though. What are you currently using?

Sorry if I miss this, but I've only ever used membrane drysuits. Which one is better? The neoprene drysuit looks like it is only good in cold water were the membrane drysuit could be used in any temperature of water as long as you have the proper liners.

We're working on a full video that will explain this in more detail. Neoprene has some durability advantages, so most commercial divers will also use it, but membrane suits are easier to travel with, better for warmer water and/or different temperatures, and will dry faster.

I have a BARE Sentry and would note the neoprene is amazingly light and flexible compared with my old O3 suit, and comfortable in temperatures well over 20°C if you minimise your underclothes. Also, I opted for socks instead of boots, which means the suit can be hung up inside-out making drying a lot easier.​@@DIVEindotcom

Not sure why, but I’m guessing it’s because it’s hard to dunk it under water in a tub.
