Heyo. Very nice video, I agree with you on many of the points. I think Solter is trying to mix a pvp and hardcore survival game together, which is stupid. I dont like straight up first person shooters, and love the survival aspect, but there's a time were you have to draw the line. The game IS very slow. However, in lost you could just snowball to top loot by raiding the Labs, and dust makes you slow down and build a base early on. I like this waaayyy better than how lost was, but it is still too slow. I think you should need a base, because raiding is such a big part in the game, but be able to set one up quick. Then you can loot, and do some grinding. Honesty, i think it would be cool to find things to upgrade your base by looting monuments, and only have to do a bunch of grinding for explosives and such. Let us remember that the game is still in alpha, and therfore still very early. There are plans to put more monuments in very soon, and the team even posted a picture of the coming map. The game is also supposed to have 100 players in it, which might not happen soon, but that is their plan, so that's also why it's so big right now. I do like your idea of having no food. It's a pvp game, and I think a lot of people get tired of the survival aspect of it. Maybe high level guns, like th AM rifle, could have a special ammo that can only be found, not crafted? And more diverse terrain is a must. Super video, good job!

I actually really liked the fast start you could have in lost by going to labs. Very fast and fun way to get a full inventory of starting gear and materials, so you can make a base and pvp with other players. It's the reason I played lost in the first place.

Completely agree with every single thing you said. I think you were making a point about how lost was so successful in the way that a new player could join get a gun and fight people. Lost was a kind of game were it didnt matter if you were a solo, duo, or huge clan. I cannot remember the amount of times where i was playing solo in lost and all i had to do was go to labs and get end game just like that, in less than 45min i would have a base with at least 3-4 gear sets as a solo. Lost was a game where it didnt matter if you were solo you could still compete with clans of 4-5+, and if you died and lost(no pun intended) everything you could just start again and within 20-30 min you would be able to fight that clan again. I really loved the part in witch you mentioned how dust is based around big groups and clans. If you dont have a clan or group of 3+ YOU ARE DEAD. I cant tell you how many times that i have come across a 3+ man group as a solo and got absolutely demolished and lost around 1+hr of progress just like that. I guess i think the point im trying to make here is that it didnt matter how new you were, it didnt matter how good you were, it didnt matter if you were just a solo or a clan , the thing was that you could hop on and boom have fun. Deboomp you have so many videos about lost were you as a solo defeated 4+ people and got end game gear within 30min of joining you see in lost you could be a solo and still be able to absolutely rek clans. Now it just feels like as a solo your doomed to either getting offline raided or losing everything and not having the will to start again. PS. i have some ideas, please dont scroll past me! *1: Black And White Bunkers* These bunkers would be just like Losts Red bunker, opened with a keycard that has spawn locations on the map, unlike the keys, and a labs sized interior with 5 floors. White bunker could be defended by gaurdian peacekeepers that have REASONABLE AI, and also there would be a small amount of radiation there, but still rads. fourth best loot in the game. containing 1 safe, 4 elite crates, 5 small elite crates, 10 PC's, 7 military crates, 10 military bags, 7 Med bags, and 20 sports bags Now for Black bunker, or SLAV CO, a new faction with a boss battle (would be just like slava) the boss would drop the following items: Heavy Ak, Slav Scope (it would have a upside down hammer as the line you look down with a sickle as a circle going (almost) all the way around the hammer, it would be kind of like a aimpoint sight from unit classified) 5 catfrog soda, and a slav Keycard, we will get to that later. it would be defended by SPETSNAZ and would be the second best loot area (the best will be said soon) It would contain 2 safes, 6 elite crates, 7 small elite crates, 12 Pc's, 10 military crates, 10 med bags, 15 Military bags, and 10 sports bags, now, for the best loot in the game, SLAV Vault located in Black bunker, it would contain 5 safes, 10 small elite crates, and a russian crate that contains the same loot as a airdrop (we will get to that soon) *2: Air Drops* these would be worth 3 safes, being the best way to get loot fast in dust. there would be 2 types, code drops, and bomb drops Code Drops would be simple, go to the drop, hit it until it breaks (1000 Player damage required, not structure) and get the loot Bomb drops arent as simple, the code will land in a metal plate near the drop, staying there until the drop is opened, put in the wrong code, both you, the plate, and the drop goes boom, it usualy is best to wait for a code drop, as there is not a problem of losing everything *3: Extras* Firecracker ammo would be a kind of shotgun shell thats great for raiding, 10 str damage on stone,metal and steel, meanwhile 20 str damage and fire effect on wood and thatch, pretty good Dynamite Muskets woudl be an early game raiding tool that fires small normal dynamite sticks like rockets, by using a lighter thats connected to the gun, it lights the fuse, then it shoots off a spring that fires the dynamite, could also be a really good late game combat weapon *Thats All, thanks for reading*

and with raids its impossible to raid with clans or groups with 3 or above. they are like the owners of the server so its impossible to do anything and keys dont work, one time it worked and i played with my friend and we did quarry and gas station so we did not craft any guns but now it doesnt work.

Quarry is the 2nd best loot spot id say...You die but you can spawn at your bag.You can make it to your bag before you die...Military base has the best armor but is difficult,But you will have a small advantage whit a full military kit

I ABSOLUTELY agree. I waited for Dust to be free for almost 2 months and then when i joined the game i was all buged which isnt the biggest problem. The problem is that there were many campers i got killed a bunch and even with my experiance in Lost i couldn't even go Solo or make a base. I didnt even bother asking my friends to join... I just left the game. Glad i didnt buy it when it was pre-alpha. Sad.

my criticism to your criticism: Guns are pretty easy to obtain, you don't even need to be a gigachad to get a revolver or hand cannon with plenty of ammo: one or two recycled gun parts give enough iron to craft a hand cannon or revolver; respectively. Due to how you can obtain ammo, be it pistol bullets or buckshot, both are an uncommon, but still _reasonably_ consistent find from the town, radio tower, or even the two military-grade containers in the gas station (excluding locked rooms) Points about food and movement speed and the PvP meta are mostly true but I disagree with the latter. Clans are not as dominant, combat-wise, as you believe, nor are snipers as overused. Despite sniper rifles being powerful and definitely some of the best weapons to use, but from my experience I can confidently say that rifles aren't used nearly as much as they could be effectively, mainly due to their price in steel; 50 and 60 iron respectively for the improvised and anti materiel rifle, is more so why they aren't used Movespeed increase, as I said before, I agree with, but a 50% increase is just ridiculous. 33% is pushing it, so raw numbers would probably work best. Running speed is supposedly 16, but feels more like 18, so I say increase it by 3 to 19. I'd write more but I'm lazy, so, enjoy what response I've given so far. If you could reply I'd appreciate it, especially if you wish to elaborate.

In my opinion the game is super fun, I love bow pvp and there is so much of that, like today I went to big house in town with a bow with 42 stone arrows and had 2 hours of non stop pvp to the point my freshly crafted bow broke.

Yeah I hate how half of the map is inaccessible even now with stone being in forest and stuff and all the new updates they need to add monuments where you can grind there with no npc guards basically we need more gas station like monuments and the should add Joshua trees in the desert basically a less effective pine tree also I think it might be cool if they had a check point in between the mountains that would have good loots no npcs as a nice mixing pot for people

also you are completely wrong on loot locations, a naked could easily run quarry and it is an amazing loot location, it is an op strat to build next to quarry because you get alot of components and it makes it a faster start because its easy to get alot of guns like that you just havent realized how easy it is to run quarry, first you need to go to med room for heals to run quarry, then to middle, then white room, then green crate, you get at least 6 elite crates like that, its op and they respawn fast, all you have to do is put a bag in front of quarry and allways run that route, never stray from the route because med room makes you last longer, then just respawn and take the loot

they are nerfing the ais dmg and they are making a new map with WAYYYY to many areas plus there buffing the movement speed so dust is getting a hell of alot better edit : the quarry just needs bandages and medpens and you dont spam the medpens you use them when your at 55 hp and there buffing the amount of food and water you spawn with so eh i kinda dont know.

Something I think they should do, to make the game more better, is you should be able to find the key to houses, but it's more rare than quarry and gas. Another thing is they need to add elite crates to houses so it makes the game more like lost and a better place to actually loot. It would a!so be better if quarry gave less radiation or you can wear proper clothes a e take less rads. I also think that the monuments need to be more spread out, because if u spawn at grass u gotta run across map to gas and you need to make the npcs aim worst EDIT: LOOOOOOOO HOW DID I FORGET ABOUT THIS... everything you said is 1000% correct. i got bored in this game because I was farming a wood and stone to build a base since i dont have a base and then people just keep waiting at the entrance and most of them have a gun now so i just die and just wasted a 30m of farming. +this game is so boring because the materials are so slow to spawn again and only with a clan can get a good amount of materials.
