looks much better. ill be doing the same,dont really want to be showing off a c220 badge lol how long until you have the new exhaust in and fitted? i cant decide what to do for mine

I was origionally going to spray the badges black but after looking around the far easier option was to simply remove them! glad I did as it does look cleaner and someone may think I have a C63 ha ha, I am not actually fitting a full exhaust, I am initially fitting the quad tail pipes then thinking about the options to give the car a little more sound, I have the option of removing the resonator and replacing with a xpipe which I think I will try first, maybe after I will get some better mufflers, some people explain you can also remove the secondary catalytic converters but I obviously want to remain legal so a little more research required... mrix

Hi bud you spoke of blacking out the chrome did you do trims around windows.

Hi, I basically done the more noticeable boot strip and side strip, I never done the window strips as I never saw the need to go that far.... mrix

hi. is it possible to stick the same emblems back with the glue? or will i have to buy a separate ones to put it on?

They are in such good condition when you take them off I can see no reason at all you would not be able to stick them back on, for me personally I will always keep them off as it does look so much cleaner.... mrix

What spray did you use was it for cars or just a general spray mate? :)

Hello, I researched around the net and saw this which was recommended, it done a really great job as you saw in the video, 1 Litre (1L) Isopropyl Alcohol 99.9% IPA Surface Sanitiser Trigger Spray Bottle. It was ok to use on old matured paint but definitely not on anything recently sprayed, in hignsight I would of purchased the solution but the 70% strength just to be on the safe side.
