Rate Eddie Howe big time I think he could win Newcastle the first premiership just would need a poor season from city and they would be in for a shot at it along with Liverpool and Arsenal. If I was a Newcastle fan my only worry would be if the England Job come calling would he stay?! I personally think he will be Englands next manager I would be surprised if that isn’t the case after Southgate.

For what it's worth he's indicated he isn't interested (yet, at least) in England. He's into all the day to day training pitch stuff, man management and coaching. Which explains how he's got so much out of the players he's inherited like Murphy and Longstaff who'd been near destroyed by Bruce. I can see him doing it either late on as semi-retirement because I don't think he'll ever sit still long enough to really retire. Or do a cycle in between club jobs maybe. But in the short term I'd be genuinely shocked if he left off his own back.

It's just to early to talk about changes in manager. I think challenging for EPL, Europa League and domestic cups is where Newcastle are at. Everything develops over time even managers. In four or five years the top teams and managers won't be the same. I think only three teams can win the title this season. LFC, MCFC and Arsenal. Although crystal ball engineering usually proves to be just lead and glass. I think Eddie Howe is a likable person that drives longevity.
