My bum loves my Ergon saddle. The original saddle on my Merida was a medieval torture device, my Ergon is comfy after several consecutive riding days.

I've had and used lots of Ergon saddles and I really do like them.....and yes I've tried other brands, but end up with what I know..... Ergon. I'm not paid or sponsored by Ergon, I might add. I don't know who tests their products out in the real world, but I can tell you that most of the model saddles that I've owned, all have experienced ' creaking noise' from the 'rails to the saddle base' the latest ebike saddle.... featured her in the video, I own and I've just had to spray the rail contact points with wax to stop it creaking! So for all the fancy talk in this.....let's face it it's an ad for Ergon, they're still not perfect. I hope Ergon reads this and if they do, I'll gladly test their products and give real world.... unbiased feed back.

I bought a core prime a couple of years ago and it's awesome simple as that and it's still mint so well made

I tried my favorite mtb saddle when I first got my emtb. Did not work. I sit longer and do longer rides on the emtb. Switched to an Ergon, not the e-bike saddle. Works great. With the e-bike I do not worry about weight as much as I do on the acoustic bike. I am more interested in seated comfort. With the acoustic bike I am moving all over the seat; back and forth, stand, sit, stop a lot to get my breath, collapse on the side of the trail after a long grind, etc. With the emtb I just keep going and going. This is a nine minute ad but something has to pay for the channel and it is a good product.

I have that saddle it works you still have to pair it with some good shorts my sitting bone issues got much better after I got the saddle though.

I have Ergon SM E-Mountain Core Prime on my Specialised Turbo and it’s a game changer for me. Nothing will be sofa comfortable but I think this is the best you can get . It’s pricey but worth it . I tried to find a used one but apparently people don’t like reselling them so I bought new .

Still riding my 11 year old Brooks B17. Best saddle I've owned in 45 years. I have a box of expensive wonder saddles in the shed. Found one that works, and I'm sticking with it.

I have had two SM E Mountain Core saddles fail on me, hairline crack where post meets the under plastic saddle area. Unbelievable saddle though just too expensive for a disposable saddle. Customer service was great though, had me take pics, destroy the compromised saddle, and sent me a regular MTB Core saddle that is almost as good as the E.

The issue as a normal person is how do you test saddles to find the right one without having to waste loads of money?

Find the right LBS. My shop loans me saddles for a week or so to try.

i ought a Gel saddle made in italy that is a bit wider in the back and firm but also very cushy and comfortable . i think i paid about forty euros for it . had it for six years and still as good as new . Why pay more .

Problem is buying a saddle is basically a gamble for most people. I for one dont have a £120 to throw away if it's not good for me.

400.00 saddle needs some selling. To say any one saddle is going to be the best for everyone? Its never worked that way before.

It is, however, for me, after trying many different saddles, Ergon was the only one that worked. And I did try Brooks and Spesh, among others. Now, all my bikes have Ergon saddles.

Bah. A basic WTB Pure works great for as long a ride as can be done, for me. This 400.00 saddle is another thing most can live without. "stay seated all the time" Many would dis agree.

Some people don't like sitting on a WTB. I don't. Ergon is one of the better ones for me

Nice saddles but for comfort try a Bontrager city comp 165 mm for $70 Australian from a Trek shop. Everyone who has rides my bike seems to comment on the saddle without prompting. Worth a try.

Hands down, Ergon are my Favourite saddle. Wouldn’t try anything else now. 🫶
