Erika is one of my favorite players on tour. I got to caddy for her at ledgestone final round and she is just so positive and so smart with how she plays. These Erika Halo G pharaohs was the disc that I threw over 500’ for the first time. Awesome disc and awesome person:)

There is no 13 speed for the masses. Unless youre throwing 60+ mph which 90% of the viewers are not, pick up a 7-9 speed. Your scores and form will thank you.

Naw dude I’ve seen plenty of people bomb pharaohs. Get a lighter weight and learn how to throw it! My boss tops out with a sphinx around 300-325, but he throws 150 pharaohs and he hits around 400’ on a good drive. It’s all about weight and glide. I would say that a 7-9 speed will have more control overall. Erika’s point is that this flies like a slower disc, but this will net more distance!

​@@robertgordon8912 One could argue that if it "flies like a slower disc" then it is a slower disc. The problem is, that individual runs/plastics/etc are not tested separately (by most manufacturers) but they fly differently, so we get 12-13 speed discs that fly like 10 or 11's. My bag is full of em. Mid 160's gram Shrykes, Air Spectrum D2s, D3s.. I throw 350-390ft at Denver altitude (in no wind) and have lately also been throwing the 14.5 speed 157g MVP Wynn Dragon Dimension and getting it way further than my 56mph arm speed should allow. Do I think it's really still a 14.5 speed with 0 3 turn/fade? No way. It flies like a glidey 12 speed. Thickest rim disc I've got though.

This idea that higher speed discs require higher speed arms needs to end. Its BS. The speed rating is how aerodynamic the disc is, not how fast you have to throw it. A 13 speed disc that turns at a lower speed will bomb.

@@DeadphishyEP3 Have to disagree there. The turn/fade numbers become meaningless if you don't actually throw the disc at or near its rated speed. If my 13 speed "flies like a 10 speed" (turns like a 10 speed) and I still throw it at 13 speed, it's just going to be a roller..
