Years before the Emerson wave Cold Steel had the pocket opener on their Ti-Lite Knife.

I am almost certain that The Cold Steel feature came out after Ernest created the Wave. Everything I could find online supports that. In fact, a lot of people accused Lynn Thompson of copying Emerson's idea. That's the best I could determine anyway.

@@SurvivalOnPurpose The Ti-Lite came out in the 1990's. Emerson was still working for Benchmade. The first Ti-Lite was titanium handled with an Aus 8 blade.

Also this is like Tops introducing at Blade Show this year the AMPAT first responder Knife another clone of the Cold Steel AK-47 Field Knife except Tops put a fuller on theirs.
