One of the most traumatic episodes of Bojack, mostly because you can see the writing on the wall the entire episode. It absolutely loves dangling the event that you strongly suspect (but hope with all your heart that it won't) will happen in front of you and playing with your sense of tension and intrigue. A very shocking episode, overall, and they definitely earn the final climax with some incredible buildup and character work on Bojack's part.
Not only that, but it is also just a remarkably composed episode, especially when you consider that this one was likely the most time consuming of the season, as they had entirely new locations to draw and characters to model that were crucial to the story. Plus, for a one-off episode, it works really well in the context of the season's plot. It doesn't feel random or forced, but instead a natural (and horrific) continuation of Bojack's journey.
Not to mention the fact that it has one of the most realistic and depressing lessons that is crucial for everyone to learn: it's not where you are, it's who you are. Moving around won't change that.
