I had a 2016 Dodge Charger V6 New. She was my Bread and Butter, my Baby. Had a little over 230,000 Miles on her. Traded her in for a 2023 Dodge Scat WideBody. Such a Way different Animal! I use her for the Daily, also for Work. So I put about with Work and Personal time 2,800-2,900 Miles a Month. What I realize is I Tamed Her with getting 22.5-22.8ish gallon per Mile Average. I know When to Let loose and Take her for a Spin down the Highways. I’ll be Averaging around $400-$450 a Month in Gas. Compared to my OlLady V6 I was putting in around $250-$300. But it’s All about the Fun per Miles right? lol Definitely no Regrets for my 2023 Scat!!! And my Kids love the Ride too, so that’s all that matters to me.

I have a 19 scat pack which I have been daily driving for the last almost four years. A few things from me. The ride quality is a lot more comfortable than what I was expecting. I had a 2012 camaro SS and it rides better than that did. The steering precision is really sharp and connected, especially for what it is. Has plenty of passing power of course. I put 275 width tires all around and even with those, it still spins a lot in the rain. I gotta be very, very careful with scraping cause the car is so low, but I’ve inevitably scraped. I have it in the destroyer grey color and it attracts a MASSIVE amount of attention. And the gas…oh the gas…lucky I can afford it, cause it was normally $50+ per week before the gas prices jumped. Now it’s almost $70 or more 💀

I’ve scraped the shit out of mine inside of a gas station on the fuel drops ( just the plastic under the car but still) . And hitting a pothole can ruin my day , and I have drag radials on the rear that up the anxiety when it starts raining lol.

I've had both and I've verified it on 'total cost' to own on Edmunds. It's $350-$400 a month. That's a significant amount. If you saved that money and invested it over a 40-year career in an index fund, that's over a million dollars.

@@inzo313 you don't let your tank get close to empty because your fuel pump will struggle to pump in the low amount of fuel at the bottom, it will also likely pump in debris that made its way to the bottom of your fuel tank. Think about it this way, do you really think that the fuel at the bottom of your tank stays there? Its always moving around, no need to "cycle in new gas"
