Sumasakit ulo ko sa ibang mga comments dito. Mga kapatid, I agree na mas maganda na may magandang relasyon tayo sa ating mga magulang pero respect begets respect. Sa mga interviews at posts ng mga magulang ni Carlos, mukha silang toxic and if toxic ang magulang mo, at sila mismo ay hindi ka nirespeto bilang anak nila, bilang isang tao, mahirap ding tiisin lang ng tiisin at respetuhin. Give and take po ang respeto. Hindi porket anak ka lang, eh you don’t deserve respect from your parents. Ang pag respeto ay hindi ibig sabihin ang anak ang masusunod. Ang respeto para sa anak ay ang pag intindi sa pinagdadaanan at nararamdaman ng anak, no matter their age. Sana po ay lawakan natin ang pagiisip natin na dapat lang tayong sumunod ng sumunod kahit nalalagay na tayo sa alanganin. Kaya nga po sinasabi na we always have a choice. Karapatan nating pumili kung ano ang nakaka-igi sa atin. Ito ay di lamang sa magulang at mga anak naaapply. Ganito din dapat sa lahat ng relasyon natin - kaibigan, kapatid, asawa, mga taong nakakasaluha natin sa labas pati na din ang mga politikong nagpapatakbo sa bansa natin. Dapat alam natin na we all deserve na respetuhin ng lahat and magbigay ng respeto din. Yun lang po.

Carlos, your story hits too close to home. I understand how you feel and how depression can be very difficult. My son went into depression and hated me and all that I do to help him. When I extend my hand to him, he will feel that I am controlling. He accused me and my husband that we were never there for him which is not true. He told us that he never ever felt love from us growing up and I don't understand how he ever felt that way when we live only for them and gave them all the care and love we can offer. Despite his 2 other siblings refuting his accusations towards us, he still felt that his beliefs are true. The home situation got so bad and I also went into depression but prayers and help from our families helped us through. He is now 21 years old and still, the only person who can talk to him without him being defensive of his actions is his psychotherapist. I understand you and I understand your mom. Those who have not experienced depression in the family will never be able to see the difficulties and struggles. My son has accused me and called me names; and I have said so many things to hurt him at the moment of heated arguments. I tell you this- you are hurting but the mom who also hurt you hurts the most. We are not perfect- we don't say the right things all the time but that does not take away the love of a mom who has carried you in her womb and nurtured you until you were able to take care of yourself. I hope you heal and go home to hug your mom- she misses you so much and no explanations will be needed- everything will follow. You are blessed, Carlos- and those blessings will continue if you make amends with the people who truly love you.

I was just imagining. If I was in caloy's shoes. Imagine if I have to fly up in the air, then my mom would post on social media, "Japan pa din talaga". That would be a psychological torture for me and it will make me doubt my self about my skills. It would probably shake me. Baka magkamali ako sa routine ko. Baka sememplang ako sa ere. Because my mother who I expect to support me, and help me find confidence is cheering for someone else. Iba sana kung sinabi ng nanay ko yun if I'm not in a competition or hindi ako haharap sa competition. Pero if its at the time of the competition? That's a different story for me. That's my opinion on this issue. Para sa akin, walang anak na ipinanganak na galit agad sa magulang. Kasi may anak na din ako ngayon and this made me realize na kailangan ko ingatan ang pagmamahal ng anak ko para sa akin. Kailangan ko din ingatan ang tiwala ng anak ko sa akin. Kailangan ko din ipakita sa anak ko na I'm always there for them. Kaya nga sabi sa bible, Parents, do not provoke your children. As for helping my parents. My parents also hurt me. Napagisipan ako na mangaagaw ng lupa. at nagalit sa akin ang nanay ko na "Hindi ko pa daw napapaginhawa ang buhay niya. I had to remind them, na bakit naman ganun? When I was growing up, hindi din naman maganda ang buhay na naibigay niyo sa akin, pero hindi din naman ako nagreklamo. Minahal ko pa din kayo. Proud pa din ako sa inyo. Kahit isang lata ng sardinas sa tanghalian. Kalahating takal ng pansit, puro ukay na damit. Hindi naman nagbago ang pagmamahal ko sa inyo bilang magulang. pero ngayon na ako naman ang hindi pa dumadating ang asenso sa buhay, bakit ako nasusumbatan na "hindi pa gumiginhawa ang buhay niyo dahil sa akin". But I'm still praying na pagpalain ako ni Lord na yumaman. And I asked God for a loving heart towards my parents (because for me that's my responsibility before God). And it's a chance (by God's grace) na makita ng mga magulang ko na yung tinapakan nilang anak ay gagamitin pala ni Lord para magprovide sa kanila kapag uugod ugod na sila. In that way, I'm hoping na finally hindi na pabigat ang tingin sa akin ng mga magulang ko. I think it's all about balance. I hope and pray na magkaayos na din si Caloy at ang family niya. A hurt person can always forgive, love and pray for those people who hurt him at a distance while he is still healing inside. Healing is a process especially when comes to emotional and mental health. It takes time to recover because a slight trigger can cause the condition to go back to square one. What Carlos needs now is understanding and patience from his family and the public.

The dutiful and respectful like Shem and Japheth are pictured conversely as weak and unlikely to amount to much. Even Christians seem to think that honoring our parents is optional. That it's okay to treat them with a level of disrespect if not outright imitating the world around us. But God clearly does not agree. In fact it is so important that He included this in the 10 commandments: Exodus 20:12 12 "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you. NKJV But let's be honest. Not all parents are easy to respect. You may not even know one or both of your parents. Perhaps they abandoned you. Perhaps they were just rotten role models in your life. Even though few of us have parents who live up to the high praises in the typical Mother's or Father's Day card, we can still honor our parents. No, we cannot dishonestly praise them for things that they did not do or did not do well, but we can give them honor simply for the fact that they are our parent. No one else will ever be able to hold the unique position that they have held in our life. We can honor them if nothing else, for the fact that God brought us into being through them. Prayer: Lord, help me to grow in understanding how to honor my parents. Let me give them the honor they deserve. They are not perfect, like Noah, but I am called to honor them, regardless. Help me to do this with sincerity in my heart. Amen

Bakit di mo tanong about hìs family mother and father. Still caloy must also give credit to his parents. Sila ang unang humubog kay caloy. Hindi din nya mararating ang tinamasa nya kung hindi dahil sa magulang nya.Of course hind naman expected magawa ng parent nya ang ginaawa ni cynthia kasi wala sila Japan.
