Watching pro play live always feels like both midlaners play so clean and calculated in the 1v1, whereas other lanes seem much more volatile. But in reality even they take bad trades, int their resets, don't recall at the right time and so on. I've never seen a laning phase breakdown like this so it's kind of eye opening that they are also just following the same fundamentals.

T1 already talked about this before but Scout goes up to the top bush because he fake wards and bluffs that his jungler is there so the Ori can back off. T1 knew this and instead Faker went aggressive calling his bluff.

I think that its a standard on Ori. Because W cost so much mana. Anyway you can max Q in heavy trading long range matchup. And W against melees. Its up to you but i prefer 3W then Q as him.

Honestly it's probably just personal preference, I think 3 points W is better because you can your Q CD lower for fights with a few more points

On the first reset game 1 is it viable to stay in lane and trade away some more health and mana before resetting or is it important to match the Azir recall for tempo?

You can trade a bit of HP but I think better to to ensure the lane gets frozen, prioritizing good wave state is very important

Comet/aery if you can super hard win lane + they don't have ganking supp/jg. If they can gank you mid/you don't wanna think about your rune just take phase rush

Comet is almost objectively better in the Ori match-up for Azir.

Nah, you give up sustain + lose a lot of prio without having hail of blades

@@ShokLeague You really don't in this match-up but you do give up slight scaling. In return you get better early mana, can still run taste of blood or biscuits/CDR, better early trading (out-range and land poke without getting hit, plus scorch), you're pretty much guaranteed comet hit with Azir Q, you can stay in lane longer if you play the match-up properly and use your range advantage (You can take this a step further and put 2-3 points in Q for added poke and wave-control/early prio to match her 3 points W), you rely less on being in her range where she can counter-attack with early W levels overall if the setup is properly utilized.
