Didn’t the class just get snapped from existence in 1.4? I used beenades on Wall Of Flesh a few days ago on Xbox 1.4 and they were listed as ranged damage. They also got buffed while I was using Necro Armor. Correct me if I’m wrong.

I suggest to beat Planters make a fairly big arena. It doesn't have to be huge but at least 400 blocks up and sideways. Then fly around the area keeping at a distance from Planters chipping away at her health with good ranged weapons. Good ranged weapons pre Plantera would be mega shark, shadow knife daggers, tsunami ( if you can), golden shower for the debuff, dart pistols, sky fracture, Terra blade, bananarangs, light discs, etc. These are some weapons you can use against Plantera. Note: When I said ranged weapons I meant weapons that can attack from a range not specifically ranger class weapons. Also, if the Terra blade is only obtainable after Plantera don't flame me I cannot remember at the moment. Also also, there is a way to cheese Plantera by building two teleporters at the edge of each arena and shooting her with the megashark.

At least it will be easier to buff, cuz its easier to buff ranger damage than thrower damage. Also, the ranger class will get a megabuff in early game

A lot of people in the older comments for this were commenting "Why not Daybreak?" Or "Why not Vampire Knives?", but no-one ever complained about the lack of the Scourge of the Corruptor. Poor guy. Solid weapon too, just overshadowed. For anyone wondering, it's because, while the daybreak, vamp knives ect. may have been literally thrown, they didn't do throwing damage.
