Nah, the tree isn't dead, it's just winter. Take a closer look, the cracking sound is all from a branch that had already broken off of the tree, but was caught in the living branches. The branch she swung on moved like it was healthy.

У нас в России раньше были такие качели которые называются "солнышко". И из за особенностей конструкции на них можно было перевернуться на 360 градусов. Собственно этот трюк так и назывался - "солнышко". Кстати делали его без какой-либо страховки).

In reference to the second clip. That system is called a gravity rail. I work for the company that manufactures them. Inside the carriage, the part that attaches to the rail, There are 12 small wheels with bearings inside that grip the top rail. The bearings failed. We had numerous complaints of failure and poor, performance. It was a poor design and not enough research done on the components. We replaced 100 or more of the carriages for free. Bad deal. Just thought I’d share.
