Sup' Stingy ? All sweet everyday I would suggest - especially with the Talaria Grin Factor. That's amazing range and output from that battery. I know that the evolution in battery tech has exploded in the last 5yrs with new heavy metal compounds and combinations being developed. I'll need to pick your brain soon about 72v/60v options for the Tuttio that don't need half the seat cut off to fit. As always - great content and advice as to how to behave in public. Popping the front aside.

It gets so busy over there especially with the weather we had this weekend. Funnily enough I’m editing my range test video on the same battery lol. Another awesome video tho bro as always. 👊

I should have explained in video but the display calculates range and % left based on your usage and consumption. A bit like a car, so 74.5v should technically be 65% left but its saying I still have 50% of battery left driving as I currently am, meaning I can do double that distance. Nucular also has a ‘miles left’ option where it shows how many miles of range are left based on current driving condition and speed! Its a 60 mile range battery all day long at 30mph :)

Does the Nuclear controller's display tell you the exact battery percentage? I always thought it only shows voltage
@stingyrogerr9 ай бұрын
It shows you exact as well as usable % its the most indepth and crazy controller i’ve ever seen and used. Theres probably 25 different display settings you can pick it to show, you scroll through with display buttons. This is the new display the 2.0 and the new P24F controller :)
@Dommy_Doo9 ай бұрын
@stingyrogerr did not know that. I appreciate the input. Great video, as always. What exactly is the difference exact % and usable %. Does one factor in the discrepancy of like voltage sag at lower power and try to compensate for that by telling you a more realistic % even though its not completely accurate to what the battery is actually sitting at voltage wise? I'd love to see a video where you go indepth in all the settings of the screen and how everything works on there
@stingyrogerr9 ай бұрын
@Dommy_Doo no problem, yes effectively it calculates the usuable wh which isn’t the full battery capacity as you cannot over drain them and still require lets say 10kw even when you are on your last 10% it will not allow the battery to sag below the power cut off threshold. On a stock bike when this happens it puts you into a limp mode under 25% to protect over discharge :) i might make a video on the features 👍🏻🫡

How were you able to get your stock L1E display to work with your controller? I have the x9000 v1 with an eggrider and my stock display no longer displays the speed or miles traveled. I only get battery %. I get everything else including voltage on the eggrider. I was hesitant to disconnect the egg rider, because I like to be able to shift from different speed modes and to reverse as well.
@stingyrogerr9 ай бұрын
This is the Nucular display for the Nucular controller man! The nucular display is incredible. It has features the other controller displays do not :) Here was my review: SUPERCHARGED TALARIA STING! - New Controller! // P24F kzbin.info/www/bejne/fnmacnytebKIeJY Its by far my #1 for sting in terms of customisation but requires some time and effort to learn its not as simple to use as say the tc500 or x9000!
@geriatric_Surron9 ай бұрын
@@stingyrogerr I think I remember on your older videos you did. In fact you still have the stock L1E display and I thought that I was able to freeze the frame and see that it’s still registered the speed. Maybe I’m mistaking on this.
@stingyrogerr9 ай бұрын
@marrzie467 my bike is not an L1E model - i only ever had the off-road stock talaria eggrider type display which worked with my ko nano previously but that was a long long time ago because for the last 6 months of ko nano ownership I ran no display. the KO nano works flawlessly with stock displays but the nuclear has its own larger display which is great. I've never put an x9000 on my bike but have tested others and they also all had the egg rider like you

Do people take offense to a full helmet with face cover over there on trails? Is that the reason for a balaclava while riding, or is that only for the videos?
@stingyrogerr10 күн бұрын
If I’m riding off camera I’ll have no balaclava. That’s just for the content. And full face is always best (i switch between4/5 helmets) as had a few close calls with my chin haha! I tend to choose colourful balaclavas they appear less hostile lol
@draggerlane040909 ай бұрын
That's weird. Cause I did a trip on my all stock Talaria MX4 doing average 30mph and got 48% at 32 miles. btw your area is stunning.
@stingyrogerr9 ай бұрын
I should have explained better in the video sorry! Anyway, i included the voltage for this reason, it still had 74.5v - for my battery 0% is 58.5v and 100% is 84v - the nucular display allows for sag ect, if you look on a comparison chart this would actually be 65% remaining but because the nucular controller and display creates a realistic range and remaining miles based on riding style and used wh, the last 50% the screen displays allow for ‘reserve’ and means you can continue riding like you are for another 28.5 miles in this case ( like a car generating range based on average consumption) for the first 3 miles I was hammering the battery at 20+kw. When I ride with buddies on stock mx4 hitting the trails accelerating and braking hard they usually get about 25 miles total and die, under 50% the stock bikes sag significantly, I can normally do another 15 miles in the same scenario. I also had a 60v 63ah battery before this which would also have the same sort of range ( stock battery shows empty at 54v - aftermarket runs down to 48v)

Don't 72v batteries die much faster after 30%? The 50% you ended with may mean you'd get less than 60 miles total
@stingyrogerr9 ай бұрын
Mine doesnt really but at high KW you can get slight slight voltage sag, i included the voltage for this reason, it still had 74.5v - for my battery 0% is 58.5v and 100% is 84v - the nucular display allows for sag ect, if you look on a comparison chart this would actually be 65% remaining but because the nucular creates a realistic range and remaining miles based on riding style and used wh, the last 50% the screen displays allow for ‘reserve’ and means you can continue riding like you are for another 25 miles ( like a car generating range based on average consumption) for the first 3 miles I was hammering the battery at 20+kw. These are 50s cells so they perform better lower in the voltage range comparitively 👍🏻 The 72vs also do not die much faster after 30% thats the stock batteries. Ive had 60 miles out of my old 60v 63ah and this new 72v 55ah has more usable wh :)
