Thank you very much, RatteGonzales! This was by far the least time consuming paint job I've done in a long time, but the lines of a honcho body don't need much to make it a cool little truck. And there are so many great accessories out there at an affordable price!

Your English is absolutely fine! It is great to be out, get some fresh air, and have fun with RC at the same time. And until the day this was filmed, I never realized how much of a distance I actually covered while having a good time! Surprisingly healthy hobbying!

Hello Rayne, 90 percent of the shells come with a clear overspray film. You can try a corner just to make sure. Remember to wash the inside of the body before you do anything else, using handsoap and warm water, and take your time masking and painting. Good luck and let me know if there's anything else! :)

One last video before bed, this is a firm favourite of mine, taking your r/c car for a walk! Simply beautiful to watch because this is exactly what i used to do as a kid, only not in Norway, and nowhere near as far! I think the care and respect you show the car is also nice to see. Bashing is fun to watch, just not all the time. This video, more than any other, has convinced me i need r/c back in my life after a looong time! 24 years since i took a car for a walk. But HEY! waitup, in those years, batteries and motors have caught up to where i wanted them to be back then! :D thankyou so much chris. (not for the batteries, that was other people, but for the video)

+G Hibbert (GRC) Hi there, thank you so much for the kind words! I always try to treat my cars with respect, and it's also something I try to teach my kids. Sure bashing can be fun, but I always keep in mind that breaking stuff can end your day way quicker than you hope for, and that is besides the point to me.

+HemiStorm RC No problem, i speak as i find. Thank you for replying. I agree, broken car = No fun. I got my first car on saturday, budget was next to zero so i got a Q32, i feel like a little kid all over again.. having so much fun in my kitchen. crucially, all my jumps have matching transitioned downslopes because it actually Pains me to see a car jump to flat! :) Keep having Fun and thankyou again for sharing this with us.

I'm just getting into the crawler scene and found this video. Good to know that you can get this kind of run time out of a 3200 mAh battery. I'm currently running 7 cell 5000 mAh Venom NiMH batteries in my Trailrunner and I get about 6 KM and 3.5 - 4 hours on a single battery. Time to upgrade to Lipos though, so thank you for making this video.

Well, my friend, it looks like you already have the sharpie lines on the car. these will most likely be able to come off when you wash the body. However, don't worry about that now, since you like the lines you have put on. Tape the outside of the body as well as the inside, or at least make sure you seal the edges of for example a plastic bag you tape over it, to ensure you get no overspray on the outside of the body. I hope this helps!

Mike Mills Lol this is possibly one of the weirdest replies to a comment I have ever got on here. I'm not entirely sure if you're trolling, or just don't know how to take things people say. He does good painting, so I complimented his work. Also YOUR random capitalization MAKES me wonder IF english is YOUR first LANGUAGE (which doesn't bother me, I'm just saying it might explain you totally taking what I wrote in a really different way than most people would). Either way, thanks for the laugh.

My friend and I recently bought two ACX10 2012 Jeep Wranglers (C/R Edition). We took his on a 6.5 geocaching loop hike in the Laguna Mountains of San Diego, California. His rig is stock and was running a Hobby Lobby 2-cell 40000 mAh battery. The trail was a combination of a dirt/rocky path and an abandoned fire road. Elevation at the start was 4,600 feet, with a high point of 5,740 feet. About half was uphill and about half of that was rather steep. The battery died at almost exactly the six mile mark. That's pretty darn good!

I just discovered your channel today. Seems really cool. I am a mopar fan myself. I have a scx10 with a brushless setup that I run on 2 or 3s. 3s is just too much with my setup. Anyway my 4000mah 2s pack has lasted up to like 4 hours but I wasn't driving the whole run either. When I run 3s I usually run 2200mah and even those seem to just keep going.

Very interesting video, I have never really had much idea how far mine would run. It runs fast round the garden with wheelies and wheelspins for over an hour with 2 27t motors and a 4600mAh 7.2v NiMh. It would be interesting to see how far it would go in one go without any rockcrawling, I bet 10km is possible.

Liam Conlin Yes you may have to gear down a tooth or so depending on what kind of running you do. If you never do much slow rock crawling type of stuff you may be fine.
@InconsistentTechDad
@InconsistentTechDad 9 жыл бұрын
The RCBros Also just to be clear, I meant gear down the pinion a tooth or so. If you wanted to change the spur gear for this (the bigger gear of the two) you would need to go up a few teeth on it. For every tooth you change on the pinion gear, it is the equivalent of moving about 4 teeth on the spur gear (again, the bigger one). The further apart those two gear's numbers are, the more you have "geared down". The closer they are, the more you are "geared up" gaining more top speed but heating up your motor, esc, and battery much quicker. You really don't want any of your electronics to be reaching temperatures of over 170 degrees F. If you don't have a way of checking the temp, there's always the three second rule. If you can't firmly hold your finger on the part for more than three seconds without it feeling like it's going to burn you, then you are PROBABLY good lol. Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any more questions you may have.
