The third party charger graph is a bit misleading. It looks like a few chargers charge significantly faster than the others, but really the scale of the graph is just very much zoomed in. Next time could you please use a consistent scaling for all graphs in the video? 5:44

Did you test with the iPhone on very low battery like 1% to make sure it’s not getting restricted

All we want is a MagSafe vs USB-C fast charge test as Apple claims MagSafe is faster than USB-C PD for 16 Pro Max

Does every type C charger support fast charging, or is it the same as a regular USB phone charger? For example, when I charge my Samsung phone with a 15-watt charger, it only charges at 7 watts and displays 'fast charging.' If I were to buy a 20-watt charger with only a type C port, would it charge at the same 7 watts or between 18 to 20 watts?
@NachtfalkeSCАй бұрын
Type-C does not automatically mean that it does support fast Charging. That depends on the phone you want to charge and the protocol. Depending on you Samsung it wants either PD for "fast Charging" or PD with PPS for Superfast Charging. For example: A S24 Ultra wants a 45W Charger or more with support for 5A PPS to reach that 45W. An older S23 for example can up to 25W, but it still needs PD AND PPS. If you charge it with a 20W-Charger without PPS it only "fast charge" at around 14W. What phone do you have?

Hi why the magsafe Charges like they said at 18w and not 25w ? Thanks so much

Clearly apple still limits usb a charging to 7.5W Previously lightning models can do 12w max so whats up with this questionable limitation? 7.5w max usb a and anything higher you need a PD compliant charger
@Arcuna2 ай бұрын
Apple no longer supports their proprietary 12w charging mode. 7.5 watts is the max allowance for BC 1.2 and Single-lane SuperSpeed+ charging. In other words, Apple now only supports official USB power standards.

@@Arcunaisn’t 5V,3A (15W) official USB-A standard?🤔 15W really doesn’t work on the new iPhones?

@@Thomas_Voland you can only hit 5v 3a if you have one of those 15w usb c adapters or plug into a computer

@@Thomas_Voland 15W works just fine, assuming you have a USB-PD charger that supports it (9 volts,1.67 amps). Can you provide a source that states that 5V,3A is a standard over USB-A?

Phones don’t charge at peak power the whole time, it’s just the first few minutes. Compare the charging time with the old iphone 15 pro max with the same charger from 5% to 100%. And why do you hide the screen of the phone ?
