Being gen 1, you could still use Wrap on Agatha and trap her forever but it just wouldn't do any damage lol.

Yea! Even the Brock split wasn't awful but its just a low stat Pokemon and Wrap is a little slow but it didn't have too much trouble. I fumbled a little on Lorelei but 10+ resets on a 4 hour run is par for the course.

Yea, all psuedos are similar. High price to get a rare mon. I don't mind it too much but I think it being in the slow leveling group and taking a while is the point.

Dratini was warping up this run with a big smile on it's face, because it only looks like a good pokemon,theoretically. Cheesing with warp strats throughout most of the game makes the battles slower,but keep of possible. Unlike Tentacurl, Dratini doesn't have a lot of speed of stats so it could bank on warp safely.😊 But they both having in common is a badge boosting moves to thier weakest stat,which made the run more interesting than it should have been . For a slow pokemon with a slow growth rate, F tier is not that bad.😮 I really like how you're putting thought into the little details, I really liked the sprite for the overlay and thumbnail looks awesome as usual.

Yea it was an interesting run. If Agatha wasn't a thing or if it got access to EQ or Psychic, maybe it could move up a full tier and be more respectable but Yellow version and the ability to take Sub from Gengar made it feel alright. I had a lot of fun and learned a good bit from this one though, which is more than you can say about a lot of runs. Dratini was weird for the thumbnail. There's not much 'cool' official art or cute stuff so I went with something basic. I figured there'd be something really cute to draw but here we are lol.

@@GymLeaderMatt1987 Dratini really needed earthquake or even dig for Agatha,but I guess that ice beam is enough, because you can always fish for the freeze, even though it's really luck based. It seems like you've learned a lot , because you've optimized it as much as possible, especially with the timing the TM usage and the right kind of optional battles you would need for Agatha.🤔 Dratini was really adorable there , I guess that even though you have been using a generic pose ,it still works really well in terms of composition and the credit goes to you for creating it.🫡

It isn't too often we see the move used to defeat the first Pokemon in the game being the same move used to beat the last Pokemon in the game. Wrap was the MVP of the run. It'll be interesting to see how Dratini does in Gen 2 when it actually gets some STAB moves and Dragon Rage is learned at level 22.

If your snake is blue, you might wanna consult a professional. It's a shame that Dratini doesn't get Dragon Rage earlier, like around level 10 or even 20. Definitely wouldn't help late game, but might make the early game go by a little quicker. Just goes to show that Gen 1 movesets really are something.

Yea dragon rage at the start would be great. You could essentially ignore the early early training and battle stronger opponents to make up for it later but it was a really informative run.

The Brock split really wasn't terrible. Dratini just has a bit of a slow pace. The run itself was fine but it just lacks that firepower and oomph.
