🧀CHEESY STORE is live! zilla.club/collections/jccbm 🧀The CHEESY STORE is finally up and running!🧀It's quite new and there's only a couple products, but we'll be adding more stuff periodically
So many Nordic languages... This time, I race to complete Checkpoint 1 on Norwegian (Bokmål). With the experience obtained in Danish, it went by pretty smoothly. Now I'm only missing Swedish to complete all of the big Nordic languages.

Funfact: The Norwegian language is based on the Danish one, when Denmark controlled Norway! Thank you for learning my language

@@jccbm a another thing is that, you did not like that we was not pronouncing the "e" in Norwegian. Most dialects says it but also many dont. My dialect "Bergensk" I say "eg kan ikke ta ´n" / jeg kan ikke ta den

@OneEyedRaven Yes "Nynorsk" is not technically based from danish. But the dialects were a mix of it. here I write you a little story behind everything so you understand a little bit more. I have a bachelor and master in Norwegian language and I teach it in Brazil, The general term is that - Norwegian language is based on the Danish alphabet and language sounds, with some or completely different sounds and prefixes. verbs, adj, infinite, subst, is made from the Danish one back in 1899 after Danmark and Norway split in 1814. If you go back all the way to the kalmar union who ended back in 1523, Norway was then proclaimed to be a part of Denmark and no longer a separate kingdom.

I'm excited for it too! German and Italian were suuuper fast, so it's got some rough competition for the fastest.

Esperanto is a pretty language, but not as pretty as Germanic languages and Celtic languages, which are the prettiest languages ever, so Germanic words are easier to learn, as one tends to remember the prettier and more distinctive words faster - Dutch / English / Norwegian are the prettiest and most refined languages ever with the most pretty and poetic words and that most easy to read aspect that is the most relaxing to the eye, so they are the easiest to learn! I got to an advanced level in Dutch (over 8.000 base words) after only focusing on Dutch for about 3 months, and I learned most Norwegian words in a few days and am intermediate level in Norwegian / Swedish / German and Portuguese, and I am beginner level in Welsh / Icelandic / Gallo / French / Galician / Catalan / Gothic / Norn / Old Norse / Hungarian / Breton / Latin / Cornish and the other pretty languages that are on my list of languages I want to learn and improve! European languages are the prettiest ever and contain the most pretty languages that exist - the pretty languages include all Germanic / Nordic languages, namely Dutch / Modern English + Scots dialect & Scots Doric dialect + Middle English / Norwegian (these are the prettiest ever) and Icelandic / Danish / Faroese / Swedish / Old Norse (almost as gorgeous as Dutch / English / Norwegian) and German & the other German-based languages / Luxembourgish / West Frisian / North Frisian / East Frisian / Limburgish / West-Vlaamse Dutch-based languages / Afrikaans (and maybe Yiddish also has a lot of pretty words) and the older / middle versions of Germanic languages, including Middle Dutch / Gothic / Old English / Norn / Old Dutch / Burgundian / Vändálíc etc, followed by the 6 true Celtic languages, namely Welsh / Breton / Cornish / Irish / Manx / Scottish Gaelic, and the true Latin languages, namely Gallo / Portuguese / Galician / Aranese / French / Catalan / Spanish / Occitan / Latin / Guernsey / Esperanto / Italian & the other Italian-based languages referred to as dialects that are in fact different languages, and Hungarian which is also pretty, and then there are also a few languages like Estonian & Finnish etc that have a lot of pretty words, but also have a lot of non-pretty words, so about half of the words are pretty and neutral, and Slovenian also seems pretty with many pretty words, but I haven’t seen enough words yet to know for sure!

10:19 The sentence relies on the pronounciation of the “t” in saltet, if you say “har du salte” then it means do you have the salt but, if you say har du saltet it means have you salted.

The rs -> sh thing is consintent and in Swedish too (except for people with southern danish-like r's)... and rd rt, rn and sometimes rl are also always turned into retroflex versions of d, t, n and l and the r-sound is removed (that is the sort of tongue-further back t, d and n sounds you get in indian languages for example), rl is often just pronounced as a regular l in most swedish dialects i don't know about norwegian, but the correct way and some people insist in doing so is to turn rl to retroxlex l) The same as for rs, the rt, rd, rn also depends on what type of r the person is using, so for people using the french/danish like r sound won't have this effect... but the people using rolling, trilled or english-like r sounds all have this happen...
