To the customer who thinks it’s ok to walk in for a catering order: have some respect for other people. To the workers who fulfill a catering order and make the normal customers wait: have pride in what you do. Have the catering customer take a seat while you run the business. This is not difficult. Profit helps your cause. It is not ok for someone to walk in and expect the business to fulfill an order for 20 or more people.

The way you bunch up the meat instead of just layering it down flat makes these sandwiches taste much better than a Jimmy John's or Erbert & Gerbert's. Do all Jersey Mike's teach that? I used to work at an Erbert & Gerbert's and we would slice our meat on-site but we did it ahead of time and layered them flat on parchment paper. You're a master on that slicer by the way. I always loved being in slicer duty.

I recently walked into a Jersey Mikes and the person ahead of me ordered 5 king subs. I was planning on ordering one mini sub. I knew I was going to walk out, but I was curious how the next few minutes would go. There were 8 customers in line when I finally walked out after 10 minutes (each sub was different). Not sure how many of them waited around, but a few left by the time I got to my car. There were 4 people working but only one person doing the walk in catering order, so three people doing nothing or pretending to do something with a store full of people. I couldn’t believe the stupidity.

I like the pieces of meat that fall in the crumbs of dried cheese and other parts of dried meat. the extra flavor and texture is impeccable. at least you put the sandwiches on the paper after they were made. The jersey mikes in tracy,CA just puts them on the counter with hella funk on the counter. just grosses me out.

Oh hell nah they cut meat and cheese on the same slicer ? I don’t think it matters health wise does it ? Because I worked at stop and shop at the deli when I was 19 and it was always cheese on 2 separate slicers and the other slicers were for the meat

Question…if a giant is supposed to be the same as 2 regulars, it seems you skimp on the giant. Should be 6 slices of cheese. Meats 6, 6, 6, 8 and tomato’s 6 for a giant Italian. Instead, you are doing 5s. Why?
@ThatCrazySubGuy9 ай бұрын
It’s the same in length but not in meat and cheese. That’s why the giant price is cheaper than the price of two regulars
@annedavidson17269 ай бұрын
Ok, that makes sense if it’s a giant, but if you are cutting it in half to make 2 regulars, do you add the same as 2 regulars? Just wondering?
@ThatCrazySubGuy9 ай бұрын
@annedavidson1726 well if someone orders two regulars subs we cut the bread in half then slice the meat and cheese and put it on the sub. It’s not protocol to slice a giant then slice it in half and serve it as two regulars
