HOW FAST Can the 2019 Ford Mustang GT Hit 60mph!?

And so Ford's claim when the original 2018 Ford Mustang GT came out was that it could run 0-60 in under 4 seconds so in today's vlog... We will attempt to see if we can pull that off! Also, getting the wheels re-torqued on Stangosaurus and talking about some alignment fun!

Did you have traction control on, I took one for a test drive and notice even in sport and drag mode with traction control on the car would be doggy between shifts then I took it off and bam, reason I say that I noticed the traction control light blinking

The magna ride makes a huge huge improvement on launch because of weight transfer which is put into effect when going into drag mode. It will drop your 60' 3/10+ and your 0-60 even more.

I have a 2019 GT with full Corsa exhaust and headers. Lund racing tune running e85 and I have the PP1 pack no Magna ride but I did the springs and rears wheels at 315’s. It has the 10 speed automatic car is a beast. I get 0-60 under 4 seconds 3.7 has been the best time, I was told if I got better tires I can better that. It’s my daily driver, haven’t had it dyno yet but I have beaten a hellcat in it and a C7. It’s a beast

As far as mods go, how far are you planning on going in this next year? e85? Forced induction? If I could give a piece of feedback it would be to keep it CARB legal, meaning keep at least high flow cats and use CARB legal forced induction, stuff like that. That way those of us following along can get an idea of the truly street legal power we can pull off in our own Mustangs. And yeah I'm sure Ford aired down their tires and did a nice long burnout before their runs. That magnaride has more of an effect than people give it credit for too. Does a great job of transferring the weight onto the rear tires in milliseconds without upsetting the rest of the chassis and causing spin or wheel hop. Regardless, 4.7 on a public road with no burnout is still EXCELLENT, especially for a full interior car in the $40k range.

You need the Magneride suspension! They specifically say you need it to hit the magical 3.9 seconds. You can't just discount it!

The meters on these cars are very close to accurate. You have to check your DA An you need good temps. My car at the track runs 13.1 on a hot Vegas day an DA over 5000 feet. My best run in my stock pp1 was against a 16 ctsv an I ran 12.6 An he ran 12.3. I have the videos on my channel.

I have the same car, and did 4.3 0-60 on cold tires. You have to use the sport mode gear, paddle shift, and rev the thing to redline. I’m sure in good conditions with a couple of runs, I could do 4 seconds flat.

LoL, the answer to this: NO. Not without drag radials, 93-94 octane gas, 1/4 tank of fuel, temperatures under 60* F outside and a driver under 180 lbs. Ford never officially got the car to 60 in under 4 sec and never have proven that. The car is NOT going to drop over 1/2 a sec from its 0-60 from 20 lb-ft of torque and 25 hp, along with a 40-60 lb weight increase.

Who cares about 60mph. I get mine to 100mph and that is a fun experience. The reason is the gear ratio. getting to 60 in 3rd gear is simply getting started. When you shift to 4th is when things really start to happen. 60-100 is an experience.

Don't listen to the speedometer 0-60 timer, its not accurate, if u rewatch stangmode's 0-60 vid, it actually hit 60 mph at 3.6 seconds but the timer didnt stop till 4.6, same happens w my 5.0, my best time was 3.9 but it wouldnt stop until 4.6, ford's claim is 100% accurate, real world numbers are consistent 4.2-4.3's on the street, consistent 3.9 on the strip especially if u do a burnout, trust me, this car is capable

I get 0-60 in 4.6 seconds, Ford lied everybody. Remember when they said the 2013 Shelby can got 200 MPH also. That said, I think the 6 speed manual may actually be faster to 60 mph because of launch control and how you can dump the clutch at a high rpm unlike the auto.
