@@laloajuria4678The law in the UK is that you have no right to privacy in a public place, so he is correct. I should add a couple of points to my original comment (which I stand by); - Assumption is there’s no harassment or intimidation of the subject when taking pictures/videos to remain within the law. - There’s a grey area about what’s a public place vs private property vs a place operating a business that allows the public access to its premises/property. In theory you should have permission of the landowner to film on this petrol forecourt, in reality it’s treated as a public place.

She'd have been out of that car like a mummy bear defending her cubs, that was one lucky man.😅 Oh bless you Andrew you looked really shaken up, in my experience with blokes like that they get even more irrational when they're proved wrong. You were right to report it though just in case. I know the police do b*gger all but you have a crime reference number to fall back on if necessary. Very interesting video on the charging speeds. I just got an E208 for commuting and found the charging speeds to vary quite a bit. Apart from that, it's a fantastic car! I used to live in Sturry (Canterbury) and there are certainly some strange characters around! Absolutely no need for that kind of abuse. Good idea to have reported him

I've got the e-C4. Had it over a year. Speeds are faster than what I expected, but this is my first ev. Was interesting your video. Charge speeds in winter aren't much different [I live in Wales by the way] there was one day where the car dropped 25% over night in January when we had below 0°c. I think it was -5... The guy at Citroen said that van happen but that was just one time and we've had plenty of cold nights. This has been my 1st full winter with the car.

Sorry to hear about your experience with the gentleman taking offence to thinking he’s being filmed, but he was in a public place so tough cheddar. Regarding the Octopus Electroverse card, can’t recommend it enough! I went on holiday where the choices for rapid charging where BP Pulse and In$tavolt. Having had a few reliability problems with BP Pulse nearer to home I favoured Instavolt but was somewhat concerned about the price. Octopus Electroverse took the price down from 85p/kWh to ~63p/kWh so it was a lot more affordable. I was so relieved that Instavolt partnered with Octopus just before I traveled!

I had a diesel 2007 Citroen C4 and it was constantly blowing the headlight and tail light bulbs. There were some weird gearbox issue also when driving at highway speeds that would cause the service light to come on and it would disable cruise control. Drove it until around 330k km, started leaking oil so much and the clutch started acting up (even though it was a robot manual, so a type of automatic).

I’ve had an e-C4 for nearly 2 years and I have never found the LKA a problem. It only seems to activate when it should and it’s just a gentle nudge rather than wrenching the wheel out of your hands. @@MrEV What is the opinion on fast charging degrading a battery?
@MrEV7 ай бұрын
@@stuiebikedevils2748 It degrades it a bit faster than someone who mainly slow charges but really, I wouldn't worry about it at all. EVs are so good at managing the battery temperature (hence why rapid charging to 100% is so slow) that the difference is negligible. I saw an example of an e-Niro recently that had done 150k miles - about 20% of which were rapid charges - and the battery still had 98.5% health. And since the degradation was in the 'buffer', there was no impact to the car's range. Long story short: don't worry! The only thing I wouldn't recommend is leaving the car parked at 100% for a long time as that would be worse for the battery.
