I think it is actually typeless in Gen2+. The test would be to check damage on a Normal type using it with the same stats as another that isn't Normal type. Gen 1 is definitely Normal type.

Man, I wish the system wasn't so inherently flawed that creators constantly have to bring up subscriber statistics and begging people to enable notifications and what-not. It really takes me out of the zone 10 minutes into a video, which I'm really invested into watching, when I have to hear the same old plead for subscribers. Rather than catering for a recurring audience, it's all about getting a higher and higher subscriber count. Organic growth of people subscribing, simply because they actually care about the content, is dead. Terribly sorry if this comes off as a rant against you in particular, it really is the general trend of this practice across the board, something just snapped in me this time resulting in this rant. I really do enjoy the content you put out, just wish the circumstances were different. :)
