You can actually die in Skyward Sword before getting the Practice Sword by climbing onto the rightmost post of the Goddess Statue's bridge and leaping off into the ground on the side of the island.

In A Link Between Worlds, there are enemies on the screen containing the entrance to the cave leading to Death Mountain as soon as soon as you get the sword in its unusable form. Considering how long the cutscene that leads to getting the sword for real is, dying to one of them is faster.

Some people uses their intro like this way When you edit the video, you split both ends a from beginning to end (some people add music or commentary), you duplicate the video then you move it all the way to the beginning of the video where you duplicate the video and use it as your intro
