I'm on the side that LOVES Sonic Heroes.... And that's despite the fact that I only owned the PS2 version.... I even loved it so much that I played it to the point of THREE DISKS not loading properly cause they were used too much. Yes, I bought that game a total of 4 times.

Also, let's be honest..... Sonic Colors DS is almost, if not Sonic Rush 3 in gameplay... In fact, Colors and Generations on the DS is different enough compared to their console counterparts to be a separate game. Can honestly say the same for Boom: Rise of Lyric, along with the 2 versions of Sonic Unleashed.

The two best memories I got with Sonic games are Sonic Battle and Sonic Heroes. I liked the combat system with Sonic Battle, and it was super fun to customize the robot with parts from all the other sonic characters. Meanwhile, I loved the dynamic from team formations in Sonic Heroes, and I was also a fan of Team Chaotix. That said, last time I played them was forever ago, like almost 2 decades ago? If I played them today, maybe I'd see games that aged poorly and actually start disliking them. Like, within the Tales of serie, Tales of the Abyss was my favorite game for a long time, but when I replayed it recently, I disliked a few things such as how slow the camera was, and it fell down in my personal ranking (´・ω・｀)

Honestly, Sonic Battle hasnt actually aged as bad as you might think, the combos are still really fun to pull off, the customizing of Emerld is still really fun and the story is still pretty decent, but Sonic Heroes has definitely aged a lot, still not a bad game, but there is a portion in the middle that is pretty bad, the controls are pretty slippery, it is still a good game, but def aged like cheese in the sun imo

2:09 - What I think of the Game Gear games is that I lament the poor, forgotten Master System. So sad that people only remember it's games for the handheld ports that came later (if, to be fair, only slightly). I guess it's mostly because a lot of the later games only got a Master System release in PAL regions, so for the Americans out there, the Game Gear versions were all they had back in the day. Retro game KZbinrs, play the Master System versions, it has literally over twice the overall resolution, it will look so much better in your footage! ...OK, it's still only 256*192 so saying it will look _much_ better is a stretch, but still, it is better! But yes, do include these, just maybe look at the Master System versions of Sonic/Sonic 2/Sonic Chaos over the Game Gear versions. (Oh, yeah, there's a Sonic 2 for Master System and Game Gear, comes between Sonic 1 and Sonic Chaos.)
