Just sold my 16' M4 convertible. After over 50 years of owning and driving hundreds of vehicles, I know that this was my last performance car that I would probably buy in my lifetime. I made the right choice of picking this car. Although I never beat or pushed this car in any way, I just knew what it was capable. The older fella that bought it was not a person to push it either. He just bought the car because it was in showroom condition with low miles and one owner. This car will surely put a smile on his face. Enjoy your Autobahn life while you are still young and have the ability to.

This is one of the most beautiful M4's I have seen. The dark blue paint, highlighted by the chrome trim and beautiful wheels - perfect! I love that it has a sunroof also because I always open the sunroof when it isn't raining. Great choice, guys!

My dad had a 2017 M4 M Competition, Tanzanite Blue, with the M performance leather/alcantara steering wheel, M Performance interior carbon center console & shifter, 20" wheels, ceramic breaks. Car was a pure joy to drive. I never pushed it hard, but I could feel how much it had to give. Driving it in the wet definitely required focus. It was a car to be respected, but which put a huge smile on the driver's face. Dad ended up selling it in 2020, very low mileage, pretty much show-room condition. Hope whoever bought it is treating it like the gem it is. Thanks for this video, this was truly a fabulous car.

Do Coding ASAP - diff, traction control, EDC, steering etc. Brings it up to par with the newer cars and basically gets rid of all of those negatives you mentioned!! So easy to do, massive improvement.

That blue actually is stunning ,looks pretty close to monaco blue metallic. My E92 328i looks pretty much the same spec with monaco blue and light grey leather interior. At first I also thought that I would prefer a more sporty spec, but it really grows on you and it's a nice combination between subtle, sporty and smart.

There is also weight savings in the cabin. I work in the factory in Munich and remember the M series very well. For example, the seat foam in the back row, seat cushion and seat back, had only 2/3 the density of the non-M car parts. Also, the seat back structure was light weight thermoplastic instead of stamped/welded steel. In total, about 6-7 kg lighter...

It's funny, whilst I think this generation M3/4 is one of the best looking, I don't have the desire to own one. The engine sounds pretty dull in my opinion. I have an E90 M3 and love it, it is a lot slower than this lower in the rev range I'm sure, but it still is no slouch. The new M3, whilst I don't think it's a good looker, sounds nicer and by all accounts seems a much better car all round. I have heard the ride quality in this F80 series is awful, at least in the UK where our roads are generally abysmal.

I wouldn’t say the g80 m3 sounds much different that the f80. I’ve got an f80 m3 in uk and the ride can be harsh but it’s not unbearable in comfort mode.

It's awesome to see a performance car that has been used properly, I would recommend to be mindful of the crank hub on these cars with it being the most well known issue, although i suspect you guys already got that planned. P.S the sunroof is ~5kg heavier from what I've read which in the real world is impossible to notice and IMO its cooler than the carbon roof.

OOOOHH spicy. I drove my stage 2 M4 on the Autobahn last year but there was a bit too much traffic. Hit 260 kph easily, so it's safe to say it'll glide past 300. Looking forward to the mods on this.

Does this not have the option of adaptive cruise? My 435i has the buttons where your m1 and m2 are. With a tune, mine does around 9.9s so not even that far off. Great cars, congrats with your purchase! Do you like the DCT more than the ZF 8 speed with XHP stage 3? Seems pretty much as quick.

Did the transition from 435i to M4. 435i MHD stage2+ E30 and the M4 MHD stage2+ and I've run it on 98 RON and E85. M4 absolutely blows it out of the water. Zf8 is a fantastic transmission, especially with xhp stage3 and custom shift points. I have the GTS in my transmission now but going for xhp flashtool soon. 435i is a much softer and easier car to live with, especially parking. M4 is a much more emotional vehicle. I like both but for different reasons.
