Quit last year. I remember i'd built a god squad in manager mode, everyone in every position 90+, played off the park by Bournemouth away; pressure, tiki-taka, sit deep, nothing worked, they just were the truth and there was nothing the game was gonna let me do it about. I remember 2-0 down i was seething, absolutely furious, had bounced the control pad off the floor and put a blue mark on the wall, picked it back up, unpaused, hit a simple pass to where no one should possibly have been able to intercept, watched the receiver literally moonwalk/drift around the back of the ball till it was impossible for it not to be intercepted. Paused it, went back and watched it 3 or 4 times to try and understand what i just saw, and then quit and deleted it, drove IMMEDIATELY to the store and traded it in for a new control pad. Have not touched it since. I never really realised how much damage it was doing to my psyche and physically until i picked up a serious health issue last year and noticed just how how much it took out of me to play it. Best decision i've ever made in my life, i love have that extra 200-400 in my pocket as well from not buying the game and packs.

The real star of FC25 is Adrian Novell, he is the one responsible for changes in shooting/passing systems and dribbling for FC25. As someone who sees this game solely as a simulator, I think EA FC needs to branch out and develop two separate games/modes with different gameplay. One arcade (FUT?), second simulator (maybe based on Seasons/career mode and clubs). Impossible to please both sides any more. I have never cared about Ultimate Team and its fantasy football, but still have to pay full price just to play abandoned modes like Seasons and Career mode

as for the balance, if the player defending a penalty selects the right place, it should be a 100% guaranteed save, even more now that the game recognizes top, bottom, and middle when saving. It makes no sense that you make the right call and the ball still manages to go under or over the keepers arm or hand

The game was always balanced prior to FIFA 13. 13 was the game where they started with all the BS bouncy, bobbly 💩. FIFA 12 and prior games were always great. Nobody complained about unbalanced gameplay back then. At least nobody with half a brain.

I just wish they'd fix the team sheets bugs where you can't swap players or save them after making offline transfers & adding created players that disrupts the default. I wish they'd also remove the never-before-had 50 player create a player limit. I actually like the game, but these bugs for standard basics just make it unplayable. It's been 3 months and 6 title updates since they acknowledged these issues, but still no fix. We're being ignored in the help forum chat too.

The best solution would be overpowering attacking and defensive AI, and let the controller decide how best to stop his or her opponent. Simply put, all attacking and defensive styles should be very effective and let we the controller read our opponents best moves and come up with ways to stop them playing their game. Just like in the live game. If your opponent loves playing through the wings, you should think about minimizing their threat and not the AI making the wing play or defending against the wing play terrible

Obviously much less expensive than a car, but the same principle applies. If buy a car that looks cool and drives nice when you test it, and it becomes a pile of crap after you own it a few months, you are going to complain about it and you are justified in doing so. Buying a product and keeping it doesn't mean you have to be in love with the product, maybe you just don't want to sell it for 1/4 of what it's worth new after you just got it and you keep it to cut your losses. That by no means says you are not allowed to be dissatisfied with said product.

This game was never e-Sports. I have watched streams from this year on EA FC 25 and... Server disconnect happened live on tournament lol. Plus like you mentioned: it's 1 on AI gameplay wise. As in you only can control 1 player at the time and the rest is controlled by AI. This is not e-Sports. Add the fact that you can play on assisted controls and it's even more less so (yes, yes, I am that FUMA elitist). The only game mode which COULD be e-Sports on FIFA/EA FC is Pro Clubs. 11 vs 11 games where every guy controls his player. I would watch that. Rush has similar potential and it's 4 vs 4, so easier to manage. Gameplay is not balanced only because people play on assisted controls. You LET the AI control where you want to pass, so it's prone to errors.

You probably won’t read this much less make a video on it but i will comment anyway. EA had the perfect game with fifa 15. Obviously a lot of things were missing. But look at the gameplay and the dimensions of the pitch and players size in relation to the pitch. Or players speed in relation to much. How much space a player would cover in full sprint. It was perfect. If they had kept those mechanics adding things only to improve animations, graphics, add skill moves, etc… they would have been much better off. Instead they keep chasing this “perfect game” year after year to point where they have completely lost their tracks and the games come out worse than the previous year simply because they are always “trying to fix it” of course now it needs more fixing because they lost it. Had they not added frostbite engine and completely changed game mechanics they would have had a better more balanced game. Go play kick off in fifa 15 then play on fc 25. All i can think about is “ imagine if all these skill moves, L1 R1 movements were in fifa 15” because they literally would have had the perfect game. The game had the balance between arcade and simulation.

FIFA 15, when you got a difficult match, was hard in a good way. It was challenging but mostly fair. You did get the occasional AI cheese (I remember the AI liked to try to lob over your defenders a lot) but overall it didn't typically feel overly scripted. The past few titles especially it feels like everything is rigged. Sometimes for you and probably more often against you. Everything feels artificial. At best maybe 1 out of every 5 games feels like a legitimate result. The other 4 out of 5 games feel like they have been predetermined before the first kick of the ball.

Smart football AI is pretty hard to code. The AI players can't really see the field and make obvious runs as a human would. You'd need like 100+ conditions (if, while, for) and game state analysis (location of opposing players, who the player with the ball is most likely to pass to, run into open space while maintaining passing distance to a player) all of this would tank the performance of the game. I was working on my 2v2 soccer game yesterday and it was so difficult to get something as basic as autopilot (controls for supporting ai player) working. I imagine a 11v11 is wayyyy worse. I love football too much I'm literally rambling 😂

Ufl had to make changes the truth is people are stuck in nostalgia, people dont want to grind the minority do. People want a card straight away and new cards that is what the game relies on. They did silver stars which no one played, they do silver snd bronze evos. Most people want to win not enjoy a game so people just want the meta cards to get the rewards. Efootball has done the same and UFL will do because thats what peope demand, no playing 100 games to get player updates which is good just everyone playing with mbappe etc.

@@100percentSNAFU Admittedly, fc24 was my first fifa game and I bought it when it was $16, It was metric shit tons of fun to me, no matter what I hear from this game its just an onslaught of criticism and people complaining, whining their absolute asses off about how absolutely horrendous and downright unplayable the game is, and I just cannot fucking wrap my head around it, the game is fun but admittedly frustrating, but the occasional frustrating moments that occur during matches dont magically define the entire game experience. More on topic, we just must not be playing the same game, there is no way these phasing issues actually commonly occur during your games, I probably see it happen once every 50 games I play, and I would bet my left nut not a single time has it ever been the deciding factor of winning or losing a match, like lets be real here, there is just absolutely no way these are common occurrences in your matches, its just a bias that makes you feel as though it happens often because its more memorable, what annoys me is how you guys act like these issues define the game in its entirely and label it as a horrible game. You guys complain about the game like you rather drink bleach than play it meanwhile you have 600+ hours on it and actively play it every day, thats what makes me choose to defend the game instead of join the herd of headless sheep that say the game is horrible, you have to at least admit you are over exaggerating about how prevalent of an issue these things you mentioned are.
