Imo, bluefin is not all that good. Albacore is no.1. In fact bluefins were not considered as top quality tuna praised for sushi/sashimi cuisine. Also that photo u used is faked. Tuna are big...but not Shamu sized.

It's fascinating to see how much effort and precision goes into every step, from locating schools of skipjack tuna to the meticulous processing at the factory. The sheer scale of operations, like harvesting 484 million pounds in the Philippines alone, is mind-boggling. Learning about the different fishing techniques used for skipjack and bluefin tuna was particularly intriguing. Overall, it's clear that the tuna industry combines ancient methods with modern technology to bring these prized fish from the ocean to our tables efficiently.

After being caught, especially with tuna like bluefin or yellowfin, it’s often immediately chilled or flash-frozen to preserve its freshness.
