I can see this being the way its done in a country with little money they just replace the coil and call it a day i guess, were used to doing full recones, interesting to say the least and i did see him doing checks to get the coil as centre as possible, not the way id do it but hey if it works it works not sure how long itd work but he made something outta a broken speaker

saludos....una pequeña observacion, la limpieza que hace del nicho del motor o bobina podria mejorarse....la suciedad que saca con la lamina de cartulina la deja caer sobre el mismo cono lo mismo sucede cuando raspa con la tijera los polos de la bobina.......Gracias

You need to use shims to center it while you glue the suspension. The remove the shims and glue the dust cap.

You need put spacer and pump the cone to sure coil on center position, but b4 that clean rusty area...practice made perfect.

You need to learn to work cleanly. Even that knife was covered in crap. You can't repair speakers this way.

Why would someone mess up a perfectly good tool when a q-tip, toothpick, popsicle stick, wooden skewer or chopstick would actually do a much better job.

I give him credit for the reverse technique but entirely to much glue....yeah it will work but the off set of the balance with the excess glue will definitely shorten the life span of that speaker...

Hi! Can someone telle me please whats the problem with this speaker? It started to resonate/vibrate since yesterday. It resonates even on low volume level. It sound almost like when the volume level is to high and a speaker isnt capable to play without distortion. You have to watch the video on earphones to hear the wrong vibration. I can hear it comes 99 percent somewhere from the membrane. When i touch the membrane it becomes louder. I tooked the speaker apart, but found nothing loose inside that need to be tightend or something. Also when ive tooked the bass speaker from the housing it sounded normal. Only when i put it in the housing it started to resonate. Like it has something to do with the air. Also when i put a towel in the "subbasshole" in the front of the speaker the resonation disapears. this id not a loudspeaker or loudspeaker, is mid range frequencies speaker 2 or 2.5 inches of diameters voice coil, you need to center the coil with some cuted papper or aluminium, you need to use special glue not that rsitol, with a few working time will mealt, and thats a absurd or dirty way for repairing an speaker, it will work only for a few minutes before the kind or type of cable line soldered get broke, its need for an especial type of twisted wired cable not an standart 16 cable wich after many movements will fail.. you work like a dirty harry or harry the dirty..
