The point of the video was, Here in India we have all world class amenities, bars, salons etc but the tourists deliberately find the ultra cheap one's which even the locals wouldn't go to & portray it as "This is India". these tourists also find the far away slums which even the locals have never been to & make vlogs there. I being an Indian have never been to the type of saloon or the type of unhygienic restaurants that these foreigners show in their videos. As you might know India is a large country & we have all kinds of things but they want to show only the cringe parts & portray a wrong image

I also saw that video by "Small Brained American". It seemed like he visited India just to show the slums and nothing else. Travelling in the General Coach of the train which is normally used only by the poor or those who can't afford to buy tickets, whilst having a ticket to the AC Coach. I mean which country does not have certain places which are very underdeveloped. I can say the same about the suburbs of LA or Philadelphia or New York filled with garbage, trash and crackheads, thieves and criminals. But that does not mean that the entire USA is like that. This guy chose to only see the negatives and formed his opinion about whole of India.

Most of this travel vlogers or youtubers are cheapf!_!(ks. They make videos to pay for there travel. Now, surely they are not gonna make alot by doing that. So they stay in hotels in cheap and high crime areas, as surely they cant afford the luxury hotels. Now you apply this scenario to any country the outcome is same. But painting india bad is there mission. But in a way its good, world will have a opinion such no one will wanna come and we wont have invasions.

In India, you get what you pay for. You can get a hotel room for $5 , $50, $500, $5000. Same thing applies for food, travel and other stuff. Most Westerners have a misconception that India is cheap. If you're going for cheap, dont expect quality or hygiene. That's a tradeoff. They end up going to the shadiest neighborhoods for cheap stay and then complain about amenities or cleanliness. They eat cheap street food and then complain about food poisoning. They book the cheapest train tickets and then complain about amenities and overcrowding because they want to "feel the REAL India". Even middle class Indians wouldn't go for such cheap bare-minimum options. Like I said, there's everything for every section of the society, for the poorest of the poor to the richest of the rich. You want facilities and quality, then pay for it.

Many countries have bad areas, however if you look at bad areas in India they have following features: 1) Poorly marked lanes 2) Pavement in some areas and no pavement in others. Even the pavements are encroached by vendors. 3) MSMEs manufacturing leather, apparel and footwear. Even many MSMEs here are involved in waste recycling. India is the world's 3rd largest trash generator. 4) 5 to 6 storey dilapidated tower blocks built poorly by the Municipal corporation and 3 to 4 storey colorful houses with shops below 5) Generally very friendly people but a few annoying scammers. Why do foreigners show such places in India? 1) They choose hotels costing US $5 to US $ 15 2) They love these places as they find them culturally rich 3) Some of them are sponsored by NGOs In 2030s India will get new expressways, will even have bullet trains on Shinkaisen technology, Vistara might end up being among top 5 airlines in the world and India might also build a space station. However, if India doesn't gentrify its bad areas it will still be considered a dirty and unhygienic country.

it's highly likely that those comments under that video were from fake Indians. Many from neighbouring country (as we don't have good relation with them) do that. Yes that was a reality, but it's clear any Indian would be hurt by his video, because he deliberately went to poor parts of country and called it disgusting, if he had showed empathy that how in some areas people are struggling like this and then it's okay. Foreigners just don't understand the simple fact that no place on earth is perfect. Some places are good and some are bad in every country. There are always those back ally shady areas where not even the locals go. While traveling you are supposed to do your research and avoid such places, if you want to have a good experience. It's so ridiculous because they go to these shady places where not even the locals want to go and then complain about their bad experiences. In the end, they do these things mostly because they are vloggers. Normal tourists without a camera in their hands all day always do their research before traveling. Normal tourists travel because they want to have a good time but vloggers just want to make money and they will literally do anything for that. This is why you should never judge a place by what a vlogger has filmed. You should always only consider the opinions of the normal tourists.

Actually they were not going to SEE the foreigners but they were going so that they can get paid and work as these were guides and there assistants and they are mostly freelancers so they approach you no matyer you want or not but some places they have assigned guides from government so you pay and hire them ....... 😂😂😂😂
