Thank you for this. I was wondering how forgiving epoxy can be when it comes to scratches. Also, tell your daughter she’s got great taste in stickers. 😀

Hi Brad, I love your work...very inspirational!! Keep the videos coming! Quick question, if you are flood coating new epoxy what grit sandpaper do you use to prep the cured epoxy? Thanks!

no sandpaper, just a very fine steel wool. I just want to take off the shine and give the next layer something to grab, so really only requires a buffing. It also gets into any raised/lowered areas of your design without aggressive scuffing on the edges that sandpaper can do.

Hello Brad, is it Possible to show us how the "Milwaukee" or the "SnapOn" Sign is made ? Thanks a lot for your Videos it is a lot of Inspiration for me 😊❤

thanks. Those ones were done with the masking process, paint the base first, cover with Oramask, carve the design, paint second color, peel the film, and then top coat.

What do you use for removing the dust from sanding? An air compressor or do you use a tack cloth? Also, has any resin in your signs yellowed from sun exposure? Thanks.

I use air compressor after sanding, and then just a damp cloth. As for the yellowing, I have not heard anything from clients about it, but I don't believe any of my pieces are hung where sunlight is an issue.

I noticed your epoxy is fairly thin when you pour it. I use total boat 1:1 table top and it is super thick. What brand and type do you use? Do you warm it at all

I am currently using Magic Resin. My process is to pour out my part A, put that in a pot of hot water while I set up my pouring station, then by time I'm ready to mix, it has thinned out quite a bit and mixes much better.
