As someone who has been in Jarvy’s videos and creates settings videos myself, I can confirm that when Jarvy showcases other controller players and their settings, it’s legit. We use recent clips from creative or in-game, and nothing is fabricated. In my own videos, I hope viewers use the settings as a baseline for their own, since extremes like 90 or 10 sensitivity are impractical. While some settings content may seem brainrot, mine have genuinely helped many players. Like Gloomzy, I post my settings at the end and in the title because it’s the easiest way to get views. Most of us just want to share our highlights and gameplay, and including settings helps with that. I see myself more as a Fortnite KZbinr focused on highlights, with the settings as a bonus. Nothing in this video triggers me, and a lot of what you said is true. Calling it spam or lazy content is unfair because it’s just straightforward. Settings videos are 10% settings and 90% highlights. Players like Reet or Cooper mainly post montages & gameplay, and just because the content is simple doesn’t make it spam-it’s what we enjoy sharing. Most subscribers are there for the gameplay, not necessarily the settings. People who follow Gloomzy or Jarvy don’t watch every video for the settings but to see what they can do with them or simply to watch them as players.

Thank you for calling them out, I was hitting insane shots with the default settings only playing for like 7 months, decided to get new settings to get even better, found a settings video that had strange settings such as HUD scale at max and others. Most of these settings videos have insanely high sensitivities that would take a year to adapt to. I never was able to return back to my original settings because my aim was too used to the bad settings.
