@scionsilverbeat8149 That's true. I also think what some people think is morally grey, others might not. Who knows... maybe we will find out more once we know his secrets🤭
@kpoppy963511 ай бұрын
So he's considered morally grey because he is the son of the man who started the rebellion and because Violet is the daughter of a Navarrian general and is loyal to Navarre, that means they started on opposing sides. Yeah you can see why he does what he does but you can't tell me he doesn't plan on overthrowing Navarre's King/ generals The thing is Violet isn't told about what this war is really about until 2/3 of the first book so she doesn't know that her own government is kinda shady or that they are hiding the real danger from their own people. Xaden becomes less shady as the book goes on. However I wouldn't say Navarre is straight up evil either...the kingdom is just acting in its best interests and the interests of keeping their own people safe. So I would say Navarre is morally gray...although I don't understand why they keep the existence of Venim from Riders, when Riders are the ones protecting Navarre! But hopefully that's touched upon in the next book.

⚠️Spoilers included in this comment ⚠️ Alright, I cried when Liam and Deigh died, I screamed every time when Dain was unbelievably annoying or when the reader was enlightened about his betrayal. But when Violet and Xaden were fighting I was heartbroken. I need them to be endgame and I can’t stand the thought of them having other love interests. It’s just not possible for my fragile heart to bear with something like that. I loved every character (except Dain, Jack and so on…But I still liked them because, even though they were "the bad guys“ -not all in the same way-, they were written perfectly), so what I was saying was: I loved every character because the reader got to build like an actual relationship with them. At some point I even started to think: Violet can stand all this, she’s bonded two dragons and got through the first year AND survived a major attack. If she was able to cope with all of this, perhaps I‘ll be able to cope with my life right now as well. The pronunciation talk was so overdue, at least for me personally ! Thank you so much! This was wonderful✨

@prettyprinkoo0911 ай бұрын
It’s never mentioned but it’s EDS. It affects the connective tissues. That’s why violet had weak muscles. Also, I think this condition gives Violet such flexibility
@sunnysamyy11 ай бұрын
EDS is also why her joints dislocate so easily. It’s because the connective tissue is weak and can’t hold it there as easily as people without EDS. Another thing I though was interesting is people with EDS tend to have softer skin and it mentions a few times in the book that she has soft skin. My bestie has EDS so it was fun seeing her represented in this book. Another interesting part of EDS is their hair tends to gray earlier. Makes me wonder if this is simply why some of her hair is silver
