This came right on time. I love it. I am a native of Atlanta and have been here for all of it. I was in my 20s in the 90s, and I attended Georgia State University. I remember the various artists coming to perform at Booker T. Washington HS in the 90s, where I was a young teacher at the time. Great memories. Thank you 😍 Atlanta Influences Everything and Atlanta United!

I'm quite proud to see as a Native Atlantan this documentary of the foundation of what we built as babies in the 90's. We still got something to say...🤌🏾🍑✊🏾

growing up in Atlanta in the 90s was awesome. I wouldn't be the man I am today without being there and getting the education I got.

As someone from Columbia South Carolina (next door neighbor) I am beyond proud of what MAYNARD JACKSON/Marvin Arrington (black Mayor /City/county council) etc created in Atlanta/georgia !! Economically/Politically for black Americans (descendants of USA chattel slavery) Georgia is truly the blueprint that us in neighboring black Americans states to follow

I love this and there was so much we have done .. they didn’t have to even mention the early 2000 where we had the country in a choke hold with our culture

Its a million gems in atlanta . Im from Alabama and i moved there in 2002 . My gem of atlanta was on west lake on leathers circle , my aunt . Going to see her and living with her opened me up to the black Conscious communities of the westside . She taught me knowledge, wisdom, health. Everything i learned in atlanta, i brought that culture back home to Alabama.

Despite the fact that both, the 2nd Ku Klux Klan era, (from 1915-1944) and the 3rd Ku Klux Klan era, (from 1946-present) had Atlanta beginnings, it's been strangely omitted from the city's chronological history. If the average person was aware of the omitted fact, there'd be talk about how Atlanta played a larger role than any other city as far as racism nation-wide during the 20th century.

Please let me put something into perspective for some of y’all. Our current mayor, the Honorable Andre Dickens just turned 50. Honorable Maynard H. Jackson became Mayor in 1973. Since then the ATL has had black Leadership. For many of us, for as long as we’ve been alive, we’ve only seen this level of greatness from people that look like us. It inspires us to tell ourselves that I can do it too!
